Calling All the Monsters: Watch Live TV with Disney+’s Hallowstream This October

Tune into Disney’s new, seasonal livestream later this fall.

If you’re a Premium subscriber, Disney+ is adding another channel to its lineup of continuous playlists: Hallowstream. Check it out for a 24/7 livestream of Halloween content.

How can you tune into the Hallowstream channel? Let’s review your options.

There’s more spooky fun around the corner

Here at CableTV.com, we’ve got our own holiday tradition: #Bloodstream. Check out our Bloodstream hub page for spooky streaming recommendations, from family-friendly fun to horrible horrors. And keep an eye on our socials for our annual bloodstream trivia contest.

What is Disney+ Hallowstream?

In an attempt to compete with Free, Ad-Supported Television (FAST) services like Tubi and The Roku Channel, Disney+ recently introduced “continuous playlists.” These are always available from the Disney+ homepage, and act a little like a traditional TV channel.

All subscribers can now access ABC News Live, a 24/7 news stream, and Disney+ Playtime, a collection of preschool-focused shows.

Hallowstream is the first of a series of Premium-only seasonal channels, and will focus on Halloween content. We don’t know which titles specifically will make the cut, but Disney+ is home to a lot of Halloween classics, including Hocus Pocus, Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, Haunted Mansion, Halloweentown, and Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

We’re also hoping for the inclusion of some new favorites, like Agatha All Along and Wizards Beyond Waverly Place.

The best Disney+ plans to watch Hallowstream

Plan Price Services Details
Disney+ Premium $13.99/mo. Disney+ View plan
Duo Premium $19.99/mo. Disney+, Hulu View plan
Trio Premium $24.99/mo. Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+ View plan

Hallowstream will only be available to Premium subscribers—meaning customers who don’t get advertisements. You won’t be able to see the Hallowstream channel with any of the Basic plans.

Halloween content will still be available on-demand for Basic subscribers, though. You’ll just have to select the titles you want to watch yourself.
