Has ‘Avatar: Seven Havens’ Been Renewed for Season 2? All the Details We Know Right Now.

“Avatar: Seven Havens” will return for Books 2–4
The original “Avatar: The Last Airbender” series lasted for three seasons. Its sequel series, “Avatar: The Legend of Korra,” lasted for four seasons. So if you just finished watching the season finale of “Avatar: Seven Havens,” you’re probably wondering how many seasons you can expect Paramount+ to produce.
I have good news for you! Not only is “Avatar: Seven Havens” renewed for a second season, it’s also renewed for a third and fourth. Animation renewals often come in pairs of two, as what we consider to be a “season” (13 episodes) is really half of a standard episode order (26 episodes).
Beyond those four seasons? Nothing’s been confirmed, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the show lasted for seven seasons in total (even if that goes against what I just said about even-numbered season orders). Keep reading to find out why I think so — but be warned, I’m going to cover spoilers for “Seven Havens” Book 1, Episode 13, “The Root Chakra.”
Finished the new episodes? Not afraid of spoilers? Perfect! Let’s begin.

When will “Seven Havens” Book 2 air?
Right now, there’s no official release date for the second season of “Avatar: Seven Havens.” We know that, in tradition with every other Avatar show, it’ll be called “Book 2” instead of “Season 2,” but beyond that, we don’t know anything about its release schedule.
I wouldn’t expect to wait too long, though. Like I mentioned earlier, animated shows are created 26 episodes at a time, so Book 2 would have been created around the same time as Book 1.
What will “Seven Havens” Book 2 be called?

The first season of “Avatar: Seven Havens” was called “Book 1: Survival.” The title card was always accompanied by a symbol that, in the last batch of episodes, Agam explains represents the Root Chakra. This chakra, associated with the color red, rules over fear and the survival instinct. The show starts in Ellora, the red haven, during an attack from a red-colored spiritual entity. Pavi has to overcome her fear to unblock her root chakra, helping her save Ellora from the red spirit.
But there are seven chakras in total, and the rest of Pavi’s are still blocked. Each is associated with a different color, just like the seven havens where humanity found refuge after the cataclysm. In order to unblock her next chakra — an orange-colored chakra— Pavi must travel to another haven, the Floating Isles.
Following this pattern, each season (or book) will likely focus on a different chakra and take place in a different one of the titular seven havens. According to real-world meditation processes, the next chakra in the sequence should be the Sacral Chakra, which controls creativity, emotion, and intuition. I wouldn’t be surprised if this next season was called “Book 2: Emotion.”
But that’s just a theory! An Avatar theory.
Other Avatar projects

“Seven Havens” isn’t the only Avatar show in production right now. Earlier this month, Avatar Studios announced a prequel show called “Avatar Kuruk: Wave of Chaos.” This new show will follow the water-bending Avatar four generations before Korra, Avatar Kuruk, as a teenager still mastering his powers.
Like “Seven Havens” Book 2, we don’t have a release date for “Wave of Chaos.” But just know that there are plenty more Avatar adventures in store, as Paramount+ seems to be going all-in on the franchise.

Paramount+ is the best place to catch the Avatar franchise, including “The Last Airbender,” “The Legend of Korra,” and “Seven Havens.”
