The Jonas Brothers Return to Disney With New Video Podcast Ahead of ‘Camp Rock 3’
Disney+ is the best streaming service for Jonas Brothers fans
The Jonas Brothers may have long outgrown their status as teen heartthrobs, establishing themselves as a real-world, adult band, but that doesn’t mean they can’t make time for Disney Channel every now and then. The sibling trio are making a Disney comeback with the premiere of “Camp Rock 3” later this week, but that’s not the only place you’ll be able to catch them.
The Jonas Brothers launched a podcast called “Hey Jonas!” back in May. Each episode, they welcome a different special guest, from Seth Meyers to Millie Bobby Brown. If you’re a fan of the brothers or are just nostalgic for their antics on “Jonas” (2009–2010, R.I.P.), this is probably a show you’ll want to hear. Or watch, since it’s a video podcast.
Starting later this week, you’ll be able to watch episodes of “Hey Jonas!” through Disney+ alongside all your other favorite Jonas Brothers titles. This is due to a deal that Disney just struck with iHeartMedia to bring several actor-run podcasts to its platform.
The deal also includes five other iHeartMedia video podcasts: “Pod Meets World,” “Desperately Devoted,” “Fake Doctors, Real Friends with Zach and Donald,” “StraightioLab,” and “Thanks Dad with Ego Nwodim.” So if you’re looking to follow your favorite actors but haven’t been able to get into podcasts before, this could be a great starting point. Since they’re video podcasts, they feel much more like traditional shows.

How to watch “Hey Jonas!”
“Hey Jonas!” is already available in all of the usual podcast places, including Apple Podcasts and YouTube. But since it’s a video podcast, you might want to watch it along with the rest of your favorite shows. And that’s where Disney+ comes in.
Thanks to this new deal between Disney and iHeartMedia, you’ll be able to watch episodes of “Hey Jonas!” on Disney+ starting August 14.
If that date sounds familiar, it’s because that’s also the day that “Camp Rock 3” is premiering on Disney+. (It’s actually premiering the day before on the Disney Channel, but Disney Channel titles always come to Disney+ the next day.)
It’s not currently clear whether Disney+ will also host the bonus features and other exclusives usually only found on the iHeartRadio app.
Disney+ has all of the Disney channel classics you remember from your childhood, plus reboots of franchises like “Wizards of Waverly Place” and, of course, “Camp Rock.”
