The New ‘Assassin’s Creed’ Has Been Thinking a Lot About the Roman Empire

Good news if ‘Assassin’s Creed’ is your Roman Empire
Netflix recently broke its silence on the upcoming live-action “Assassin’s Creed” series. Fans have long been wondering which game the show would adapt, and we finally have an answer: None of them.
Each “Assassin’s Creed” game takes place in a different historical setting, but the Netflix show will take place in one we’ve never seen before: the Roman Empire, 64 AD.
The “Assassin’s Creed” show will tell an original story rather than rehashing anything you’ve seen in the games before. But if you want to play one of the games with a similar vibe, you might want to check out “Assassin’s Creed Origins” (Egypt, 49 BC) or “Assassin’s Creed Odyssey” (Ancient Greece, 431 BC).
