How much does Peacock cost in 2026?
After the August 2026 price increase, a Peacock subscription will cost you anywhere between $8.99/mo. and $19.99/mo.

Peacock’s lowest tier, Peacock Select, is going up by $1/mo. Its middle tier, Peacock Premium, is going up by $2/mo. And its highest tier, the ad-free Peacock Premium Plus, is going up by $3/mo. These changes went into effect on August 18, 2026.
Existing customers will see these prices reflected on their bills beginning September 17, 2026.
Peacock’s annual prices are also going up, although they’re staying on pace with the monthly prices. It’s very common for 12-month plans to cost the same as 10 months at the monthly rate.

So is this new price increase reasonable? Peacock’s last price increase took effect in July 2025, which seems like just yesterday. But these days, most streaming services do raise their prices every year. It’s an unfortunate reality of the industry.
Still, a three-dollar price increase on the only ad-free plan is pretty drastic — especially since it rose the same amount last year. It’s hard to believe that the Premium Plus plan has doubled in price (from $9.99/mo. to $19.99/mo.) since 2022.
Peacock Premium is still the best way to get the streaming service (unless you can get a deal through another bundle or cable provider). Peacock Select’s price may be tempting, but its library is extremely limited compared to the pricier plans. Peacock Select customers lose out on live sports, movies, and Peacock Originals.
Unfortunately, picking the best Peacock plan may mean you have to put up with ads. Unless you’re okay with that new, shocking price tag.
Peacock has come a long way from the free service it was when it debuted back in 2020. It’s a pretty pricey option now, but we generally feel that it has the content to back it up — especially for sports fans.
