Saban’s run at Alabama was one the greatest in college football history, and he took the Crimson Tide to the doorstep of another national championship appearance in his final season.
But at the same time, college football’s graveyard is littered with the headstones of coaches who crumpled under the expectations of their predecessors. New head coach Kalen DeBoer is no slouch—he’s racked up wins everywhere from Seattle to Sioux Falls, and Alabama can still count on stars like quarterback Jalen Milroe.

Alabama football TV schedule 2024
Alabama’s 2024 schedule will open with a winnable non-conference slate that’ll end with a rare trip to Big Ten country to face Wisconsin at Camp Randall Stadium. But they’ll end September with a primetime matchup against Georgia that will double as a measuring stick for Alabama’s postseason expectations.
In the back half of the year, the Crimson Tide will have tough matchups against LSU and new SEC member Oklahoma before ending the year with the Iron Bowl against Auburn.
