How To Watch the Las Vegas Grand Prix

The Las Vegas Grand Prix hits the grid on Saturday, November 21. Here's how to watch every practice, qualifying, and race-day session.

Las Vegas has never been known for subtlety, and its Formula 1 race is no exception. Since the championship returned to the city in 2023, drivers have raced past the Strip’s famous landmarks under the lights. It’s quite a spectacle, even by Vegas standards.

The 2026 event arrives late in the championship with a new viewing setup for U.S. fans. Under Formula 1’s new five-year broadcast deal, Apple TV now carries the full race weekend, while Univision will air a special Spanish-language simulcast of the main race.

If you’re looking to watch the Las Vegas Grand Prix from home, I’ve got you covered. Below, I’ll break down the practice and qualifying schedule, race start time, and the TV and streaming options worth knowing, including free ways to tune in.

What channel shows the Las Vegas Grand Prix?

You can watch the Las Vegas Grand Prix live on Apple TV, which carries every practice session, qualifying, and Saturday night’s race. Its coverage features both English- and Spanish-language commentary.

On race day, Univision will also air a Spanish-language simulcast with dedicated pre- and post-race programming. Meanwhile, Tubi will stream a free live alt-cast called “The Fast Lane.”

How to watch the Las Vegas Grand Prix for free

All three Las Vegas Grand Prix practice sessions will stream for free in the Apple TV app, while Yahoo Sports will also offer free practice and qualifying coverage. Yahoo’s qualifying stream uses a rotating onboard-camera feed rather than Apple TV’s traditional broadcast.

For Saturday night’s race, Univision provides a free Spanish-language simulcast through an over-the-air antenna if you’re within range of a local affiliate. Tubi will also stream a free live alt-cast featuring onboard footage and alternative commentary. It’s a different viewing experience from the standard race broadcast, but you can follow the action without paying for a subscription.

If you prefer Apple TV’s traditional race coverage, eligible new subscribers can also take advantage of its seven-day free trial. Just remember to cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
