Best TV plans for watching the Minnesota Lynx

From my perspective, there’s really only one—maybe two—services you’ll absolutely need to watch the Lynx in 2025: YouTube TV and WNBA League Pass. There’s also the regional sports network, but I’ll let you make up your own mind about that one.

I break them down below.

YouTube TV ($82.99/mo.)

If you’re looking to watch a ton of Minnesota Lynx games this season, look no further than YouTube TV. The live TV streaming service will give you access to ABC and CBS, as well as ESPN, ION, NBA TV, and others.

The only caveat is FanDuel Sports Network North is currently unavailable on YouTube TV. Fortunately, in-market fans can get the regional sports network as a standalone streaming service, or through traditional providers like DIRECTV and Xfinity.

FanDuel Sports Network North ($19.99/mo.)

While there are plenty of opportunities to watch the Lynx on national or broadcast TV, most games will be on the regional sports network. It’s available not just in the greater Minneapolis area, but several surrounding states.

The cost might cause some cringing, though. FanDuel Sports Network North is $19.99/mo., or $189.99/yr. by itself. If you don’t want the service as a standalone, you’ll still need a provider like DIRECTV or Xfinity to access it, which can also be expensive.

The WNBA League Pass logo on a black background.

WNBA League Pass ($12.99/mo.)

If you’re like me and can’t watch your favorite women’s basketball teams live as much as you’d like, WNBA League Pass is a great alternative to a live TV streaming service. WNBA League Pass allows you to stream any Lynx game on demand.

WNBA League Pass, however, won’t work with live games if you reside in the market or are hoping to watch a nationally televised game due to blackout restrictions. But if you’re a Lynx fan who doesn’t live in the greater Minnesota area, you’ll be able to watch many games live.
