The New York Liberty have improved every season since drafting Sabrina Ionescu in 2020. Last year, they won the WNBA title—their first in franchise history. And with a stacked roster again in 2025, there’s a chance New York repeats.
The Liberty’s popularity has earned them several nationally televised games on CBS and ESPN, in addition to NBA TV and Amazon Prime Video.

What channels have New York Liberty games?
Liberty fans are spoiled due to how many opportunities they have to watch their favorite team on TV and streaming in 2025. The team’s games will be broadcast on premium channels, national networks, and various streaming services. Below is the full list of where the Liberty will appear this season.
For those living in the New York metro area, My9 (WWOR) and FOX 5 (WNYW) will carry most New York Liberty games in 2025. If you’d rather stream games, the FOX Local App is a good in-market alternative. You can also download the Liberty Live mobile app, but that requires a paid subscription.
2025 New York Liberty TV schedule

Best TV plans for watching the New York Liberty
I recommend two plans if you’re a Liberty fan who wants access to as many games as possible: YouTube TV and WNBA League Pass. I outline them below, including price and included channels.

YouTube TV ($82.99/mo.)
YouTube TV is my pick for how fans can watch the most Liberty games with the least labor. The streaming service includes access to channels like ABC, CBS, ION, and NBA TV, as well as in-market networks like FOX 5 and My9.
Another great thing about YouTube TV is that it offers WNBA League Pass as an add-on service. So if you love women’s basketball and want to catch WNBA games that don’t air locally or nationally—even if they’re not Liberty games—you can do that.

WNBA League Pass ($12.99/mo.)
For Liberty fans who might not be in the market for a full live TV service, or who already have cable or satellite, I recommend subscribing to WNBA League Pass. You’ll be able to watch any Liberty game on demand.
If you live somewhere other than New York, you can catch any game live that isn’t broadcast nationally. And for that annual price of $34.99, it’s a great time to be a Liberty or WNBA superfan.
How to watch the New York Liberty for free
New York Liberty fans have several free viewing options. If you live in the local market, you can watch most games on My9 and FOX 5 without a TV subscription. ABC and CBS will also air multiple Liberty games in 2025.
The best and cheapest way to gain access to those channels is via an over-the-air antenna. Our complete guide to OTA antennas lists several options. We like the Moho Leaf 50 because of its sleek design, wide range, and 12-foot cable.
If an antenna isn’t your vibe, you can always sign up for free trials to YouTube TV, Fubo, or Amazon Prime Video. You can catch at least three more Liberty games on Prime Video this season.
