Get ready for more NFL International Games in 2024
NFL fans, be sure your passports and Duolingo subscriptions are updated: The NFL will send five games across the globe this season as part of its International Games series.
The annual matchups are a great way for domestic and international fans to see NFL teams in some of Europe and South America’s biggest soccer arenas.
Need to refresh your Deutsch? Getting ready to say queue instead of lining up? We’ve got everything you’ll need to know about the NFL’s International Games for the 2024–2025 NFL season.
The 2024 NFL International Games schedule up close
For this year’s International Games series, the NFL will feature five games throughout the season in three countries. Before setting your alarm for an early kickoff, here’s how to watch all five international NFL games.
Watch Green Bay Packers vs. Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil
The Eagles and Packers open the season south of the border, as they’ll head to São Paulo’s Corinthians Arena for a Week 1 matchup in Brazil. It’ll be the first time South America has hosted an NFL game in league history.
The Packers enter the season on a high note, as Jordan Love looks like (yet another) premier quarterback for Green Bay, and they’re well-equipped to make a run within the NFC.
As for the Eagles, the wheels fell off last year amid a 1–5 season-ending losing streak and hot seat speculation for coach Nick Sirianni—they’ll need to come out strong to dispel last season’s bad vibes.
In most markets, Packers–Eagles will stream exclusively on Peacock, NBC’s streaming service.
However, you’ll be able to watch the game on NBC if you’re in the Green Bay or Philadelphia area, and it’ll also be available on mobile devices with an NFL+ subscription.
Watch New York Jets vs. Minnesota Vikings in the UK
Starting in Week 5, the Jets and Vikings will kick off three weeks of NFL games across the pond in London.
The high-profile game will be a tricky matchup for Aaron Rodgers and the Jets, who’ll open the season against the San Francisco 49ers before a winnable stretch against rebuilding Titans, Patriots, and Broncos squads.
As for the Vikings, they’ll have Sam Darnold under center alongside coach Kevin O’Connell and receiver Justin Jefferson, which means they’ll be a formidable opponent for a Jets team with much to prove.
You’ll need NFL Network to watch this footy match. Check out our comprehensive channel guide so you don’t get caught with your trousers down, mate.
Watch Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Chicago Bears in jolly ole England
Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars return to London, where they’ll face a Chicago Bears team led by fellow No. 1 pick Caleb Williams.
The Bears have done a sizable overhaul around Williams, as he’ll be playing with new additions like running back D’Andre Swift and receivers Rome Odunze and Keenan Allen.
Again, you’ll need NFL Network to catch this clash across The Pond.
Watch New England Patriots vs. Jacksonville Jaguars back in the UK
The Jaguars head across town to play the New England Patriots at Wembley Stadium and wrap up the NFL’s London series.
The Week 7 game will be the Patriots’ first London appearance since 2012, although they played in Germany last season.
Don’t forget that you’ll need NFL Network for this right proper brawl.
Watch New York Giants vs. Carolina Panthers in Germany
The NFL closes out this year’s international game slate with a matchup against a retooling Giants squad and a rebuilding Panthers team at the home of FC Bayern Munich.
The Giants will have Daniel Jones back after losing him to injury last season, although they’ll be welcoming several new players on both sides of the ball this year.
For better or worse, this game will be the Panthers’ highest-profile match of the season, as Carolina landed a whopping zero primetime games.
Stalwart fans will also need NFL Network to watch this not-so-über matchup.
Watch NFL International Games for free
Watching the NFL’s London, Brazil, and Germany games for free this year will be trickier than normal since they’ll be cable or streaming exclusives. But that doesn’t mean you’ll be out of luck if your team’s heading overseas for a matchup.
- If you live in the Philadelphia or Green Bay area, you can watch Packers vs. Eagles for free on your local NBC station. You’ll simply need a standard TV plan or an over-the-air antenna.
- Peacock no longer offers free trials, but Xfinity customers may be able to qualify for Peacock bundle deals and savings depending on your Xfinity Rewards eligibility.
- NFL Network is available on most streaming TV services, and many of them offer new customers a free trial.
All five international NFL games will be available on mobile devices with an NFL+ subscription.
