The 2024 Olympics in Paris, France, is hosting professional tennis players at the grand Roland-Garros Stadium (or Stade Roland-Garros).
The athletes are playing on nice, clay courts from July 27 to August 4, so that means we get eight straight days of elite tennis.

- Team USA’s Tommy Paul held off Czech Republic’s Jakub Menšík to head to the third round on July 31, 2024.
- Coco Gauff failed to advance to the quarterfinals after an upset in the third round to Croatia’s Donna Vekić.
- Danielle Collins is still holding on strong for the U.S. and will play in the quarterfinals against No.1 Iga Światek on July 31, 2024.
- Although Gauff lost today, she won in the first round of mixed doubles with teammate Taylor Fritz.
- Danielle Collins and Desirae Krawczyk beat Argentina to advance to the second round in women’s doubles.
- Also, moving forward to the second round of doubles is USA’s Rajeev Ram and Austin Krajicek.

- Team USA’s Taylor Fritz and Coco Gauff were beaten out of contention for the final by Team Canada, but Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul are heading to the men’s doubles quarterfinals.
- Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula lost to Team Czech Republic in women’s doubles.
- Danielle Collins and Desirae Krawczyk ended their run at women’s doubles with a loss to Team Ukraine.
- What might possibly be an upset, Rajeev Ram and Austin Krajicek advance to the finals after beating Carlos Alcaraz and Rafael Nadal.

The last and final day of the 2024 Summer Olympic tennis matches starts tonight—you could say we’re at match point.
Alexander Zverev won the men’s gold medal in 2020, and he’s not looking like a bad pick this year again. But I’m really rooting for Djokovic to win this achievement in his career before he retires. (I’m not saying he announced it, but we know he won’t be playing for another four years.)
