Cox customers are getting Spectrum plans, features, and (if they want) pricing
Spectrum previously confirmed that Cox markets would get Spectrum’s branding, prices, and plans across the board by mid-September. As of this writing, Cox still has its old plans and pricing up:

And its sales agents are still restricted to selling them:
So looks like I will have to wait to get on 1 gig for a few weeks.

If you’re in Cox’s footprint and shopping for internet service, you may want to wait a few weeks for a better deal or be prepared to phone spar for savings. But what does this mean for grandfathered Cox or Spectrum customers? In terms of day-to-day operations, your bill payments, pricing, account information, and equipment will stay the same.
Spectrum already has benefits like universal unlimited data and Spectrum Mobile, so Cox subscribers can adopt these plans if you’re willing to transition coverage over to Spectrum. If you got a sweetheart deal from Cox, you also won’t have to give it up once Spectrum takes over. But if you’re tired of your old Cox plan, you’ll need to call Spectrum and manually switch your service over.
Via The Wichita Eagle:
Chris Winfrey, president and CEO of Charter Communications, said customers will not be forced into transitioning to Spectrum plans, but he said Spectrum offers a greater value.
“The average pricing of internet is much lower in Spectrum, and mobile is lower, and video is also lower, but also has more value with the app,” he said. “So I think it’s a great day for consumers.”
All existing promotions, deals and commitment terms will be honored according to Cox agreements.
“If a customer was in a legacy Cox promotional pricing (deal), and that was going to roll up to retail pricing over time, they’ll stay inside of that pricing and packaging structure that they were in, and we’re not looking to, you know, make any dramatic changes there,” Winfrey said during the media call.
Spectrum bringing Cox customer service stateside
Spectrum has worked to introduce themselves to Cox customers by offering everything from Dodgers games to a year of free Spectrum Mobile. But in a notable move, Spectrum also announced plans to make Cox’s customer service U.S.-based with 24/7 coverage within the next 18 months.
We’re here for anything that makes customer service easier for subscribers, though both providers have nowhere to go but up. In our 2026 Internet Customer Satisfaction Survey, Spectrum and Cox ranked 14th and 15th in overall customer support satisfaction. (That said, Spectrum had the lowest percentage of highly dissatisfied customers among Cox, Spectrum, and Xfinity.)
