“Malcolm in the Middle” returns in four parts

The early 00s hit comedy “Malcolm in the Middle” is making a comeback in a big way. On April 10, Hulu will air a four-part revival titled “Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair,” which follows a middle-aged Malcolm as he tries and fails to keep his daughter out of his family’s chaos during a reunion.

The “Malcolm in the Middle” reboot features most of the original cast, including star Frankie Muniz, who has spent the last few years as a NASCAR driver. To get Muniz on board, the reboot reportedly had to adjust its shooting schedule around his NASCAR races. The former child star would fly back and forth between the set and the racetrack every week.
