Crunchyroll Manga continues adding Kodansha USA titles

On May 18, Crunchyroll added 23 Kodansha USA titles to its manga library (you can check out the trailer for that release below). This is an exciting development for manga fans, because a lot of Kodansha USA manga is only available through its own app, K Manga. K Manga works by awarding readers coins for completing tasks, which they can exchange to rent limited access to manga chapters.

Crunchyroll Manga works more like a traditional subscription service. You’ll need to subscribe to the $17.99/mo. Ultimate Fan tier subscription, the $17.50/mo. Mega Fan + Manga tier, or the $13.99/mo. Fan + Manga tier subscription for access. But once you do, you can read as much manga as you want. You don’t have to worry about wasting coins or logging in every day or sitting through mobile game ads.

In the end, it’s up to the reader which system they prefer, but it’s great to have more options. Especially since a lot of manga fans probably already have a Crunchyroll account for watching anime. The manga bundle option only adds about $4.00/mo. to their monthly bill.

And that subscription is about to get a lot more valuable as Crunchyroll Manga brings 24 more Kodansha USA titles into its library. Keep reading for the full list.
