Savannah Bananas Returning to Major TV Channels This Summer
Watch the Savannah Bananas and other Banana Ball teams on truTV and HBO Max
The time for wacky baseball is drawing ever closer, and news just broke about where you can watch the Savannah Bananas and the rest of Banana Ball on TV this summer.
For the third year in a row, Warner Bros. Discovery properties will broadcast Banana Ball, announcing a 15-game slate, starting May 8 and running through September 11, on truTV and HBO Max. The teams will play in baseball and football stadiums across the country, including Kauffman Stadium (Kansas City Royals), Coors Field (Colorado Rockies), and Gillette Stadium (New England Patriots).
The TV slate will feature all six teams in the Banana Ball Championship League.

YouTube streams much of the Banana Ball schedule, but TV channels start getting into the mix later in the spring and into the summer and fall. Early May is when truTV and HBO Max start broadcasting games.

What does the news mean for Banana Ball fans?
TruTV and HBO Max aren’t the only channels on which you can watch the Savanah Bananas and other Banana Ball teams. Be on the lookout for games on ESPN networks, ABC, and The CW.
That means fans will need a TV plan if they want to watch every Bananas game or mix and match watching any other Banana Ball teams.
My recommendation is DIRECTV. It has every channel you need in one service, including most regional sports networks for tuning into the NBA, NHL, or MLB. Cord-cutters can get the service’s streaming version.
