Apple teases answers in new ‘Silo’ Season 3 footage

These days, it’s rare for TV shows, especially science fiction shows, to have quick turnarounds. But Apple TV must have been really enthusiastic about its critically acclaimed dystopian mystery “Silo,” because it’s coming back just a year and a half after its second season ended.

The new teaser trailer, released this morning, promises “the truth will surface” as its characters strive to find out more about the underground bunker they live in. As the show’s blurb says: “if the lies don’t kill you, the truth will.”

Check out the teaser trailer below, or read on for more info on the show’s return.

‘Silo’ season 3 release date

According to the newly released teaser trailer, “Silo” will return on July 3, 2026.

“Silo” is a slow burn mystery about a dystopian future where humans live in an underground bunker (or silo) to keep them safe from the toxic surface. But all isn’t as it seems—no one knows anything about the silo’s own history—and its inhabitants are starting to wonder if the world is really that dangerous.

The first two seasons are currently streaming on Apple TV, which has proved itself a champion of science fiction with hits like “Silo,” “Severance,” “Pluribus,” “For All Mankind,” and “Murderbot.”
