Spectrum Customers, You Can Cancel Your Disney+ Subscription Now
And Hulu too, while you’re at it.
Customers have been cancelling Disney+ in droves recently for two reasons. One, because ABC temporarily suspended Jimmy Kimmel Live! after he criticized the Republican Party. And two, because Disney recently announced plans to raise its prices by $2–$3, which it’s done every year since 2022. Those years have really been adding up.
But there’s a new reason you can cancel your Disney+ subscription now, although I’m using the term “cancel” loosely. If you’re a Spectrum TV customer, you may be overpaying for your streaming services. So dig up your password book and get cancellin’.

Spectrum just added Hulu to its already-great TV bundle
You might not have known that Spectrum TV packages came with free streaming services. Until recently, Spectrum offered its customers free Disney+, but not Hulu, so customers couldn’t benefit from Disney Bundle savings. They had to subscribe to Hulu separately, which we generally don’t recommend doing.
But Hulu isn’t going to exist as a standalone service for very much longer and is going to become part of Disney+ in 2026. Maybe that’s why Spectrum decided to take the plunge and start offering Hulu as part of its TV packages, too. That means Spectrum TV customers are now getting free Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+ (through Unlimited), and HBO Max, eliminating the need for the Disney Bundle. You might as well call it the Spectrum Bundle.
So if you’re a Spectrum TV customer, go ahead and activate your new cable-sponsored subscriptions. You should be able to log in to each platform with your Spectrum credentials. And then go through our list of streaming services below and cancel any standalone plans or bundles you had before. You don’t want to be paying for the same thing more than once, especially not with these rising prices.
(Unfortunately, this does make it harder to boycott Disney products. So here’s hoping ABC doesn’t try to censor any other comedians in the near future.)
