The 2025 Oscars will stream live on Hulu
In previous years, if you wanted to watch the Oscars live, you’d need access to ABC through a cable provider, OTA antenna, or live TV streaming service. But the Oscars are modernizing in 2025 by streaming the ceremony simultaneously for all Hulu subscribers.
This is a huge step for making the ceremony accessible for more people, especially cord cutters who don’t want to shell out for a pricey live TV streaming service. In contrast, Hulu offers a 30-day free trial and has a lower monthly cost.
Catch the Oscars on Hulu on Sunday, March 2, at 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. ET.

You don’t need to subscribe to a pricey Hulu + Live TV plan to watch the Oscars this year. While you can still use a live TV plan to watch the ABC broadcast, you can also tune in from the on-demand Hulu tiers that cost $9.99–$18.99/mo.
Hulu also has a handful of 2025 nominees available on demand
While you’re logged in to Hulu, catch some Oscar-nominated films like A Real Pain, Sugarcane, and Alien: Romulus. Hulu has a hub that features both current nominees and past winners and nominated films.
