Get sports add-ons with any TV plan

Spectrum offers a variety of sports add-ons and packages to help you customize your TV Select Plus experience and get all the action you crave. The main options include:

  • Sports View: This add-on is available for $10 per month and is a great way to expand your sports coverage. It includes channels such as NFL Network, NFL RedZone, NBA TV, MLB Network, MLB Network Strike Zone, and Golf Channel. It’s also included with the TV Platinum package.
  • MLB Extra Innings: For baseball fans, you can get up to 90 out-of-market games per week during the regular season. This package is priced at $149.99 for the full season or four payments of $37.50.
  • NHL Center Ice: Hockey fans can catch up to 40 out-of-market games per week in HD with this add-on and only pay $69.99 for the entire season.
  • NBA League Pass: This add-on provides access to every out-of-market NBA game, but it might not be available through Spectrum for the 2025–2026 season because of Prime Video’s new exclusive deal with the NBA.

Deciding whether to get a new cable package? Here’s why people still choose cable.

So, why are people still choosing cable over other options? It’s all about comfort and control. Based on a survey of 1,000 cable TV subscribers, the reasons are clear and backed by data:

  • 27% of those surveyed stated they use cable primarily to watch live sports, citing exclusive TV deals as a key factor.
  • Another 26% prioritized comfort, indicating they are used to cable and it’s simpler to stick with what they know.
  • The survey also found that 70% of cable subscribers have had their service for more than five years, which supports the “comfort” angle.
  • Other reasons include ease of use (12%), watching the news (11%), and entertainment (11%).
