If you need an affordable option for international phone calls, Spectrum Voice, which is the provider’s no contract landline service, offers great overseas call coverage. But you’ll have to jump through more hoops than you’d expect to get the service.

Spectrum doesn’t offer Spectrum Voice as a standalone package, so you’ll have to bundle with Spectrum Internet® or TV packages in order to get your landline phone set up.
By combining Spectrum telephone service with an Internet or TV bundle, you won’t have to worry about paying multiple bills to different providers.
But Spectrum’s bundle restriction can be a hassle if your biggest priority is home phone service. Although Spectrum Voice’s $14.99 per month when bundled rate is among the lowest compared to other providers, the cheapest Spectrum Voice bundle (Spectrum Internet + Voice) still costs $64.98 per month for the first year.
Spectrum’s bundle rule also makes it difficult to buy Spectrum Voice unless you’re also looking for TV or internet service or are almost done with your current provider contract.

Your Spectrum Voice subscription includes a phone modem that connects Spectrum’s phone network to your home. Depending on your Spectrum bundle, you might get a combo phone and internet modem that will support both Spectrum services.
You won’t need to install any additional hardware, and the modem is included with your Spectrum Voice fee.
