The Florida Gators had their first winning season since 2020 last year. And although they won the Gasparilla Bowl, they still finished in the bottom half of the SEC.
But there’s reason for optimism if you’re a Gators fan. Quarterback D.J. Lagway won’t be a true freshman anymore and is expected to take a leap forward. The team returns a slew of starters. And for what it’s worth, Urban Meyer has his former team winning eight games for a second straight season.
Life in the SEC is tough, but always interesting. Find out where and how to watch every Florida football game with my watch guide, which includes the TV schedule and tips on streaming the games.

Best TV plans for watching Florida Gators football
Data effective as of post date. Offers and availability may vary by location and are subject to change.
For die-hard Florida Gators football fans, ensuring you never miss a game is a top priority. Hulu + Live TV is my favorite choice for watching the most college football action because of its comprehensive channel lineup. It also includes worthy perks like ESPN+ at no extra charge and unlimited DVR storage.
While Hulu + Live TV offers extensive college sports, it doesn’t feature every football matchup, particularly those involving lower-level teams. Some games may require access to a regional sports network or a separate streaming subscription.
How to watch Florida Gators football FAQ
Where can I watch the Florida Gators for free?
You can stream Florida football games with a DIRECTV free trial, but be aware of local blackouts and games exclusive to other platforms. You can also watch any games airing on your local ABC, CBS, FOX, or NBC station for free with a simple digital antenna.
Where can I stream Florida Gators football games if I don’t have cable?
My favorite way to watch the Florida Gators without cable is through Hulu + Live TV. The streaming service has every core college football channel, including ESPN+. But you may still need a separate subscription for games exclusive to Peacock (for Big Ten games) or FloFootball (for smaller conferences).
Can I watch Florida Gators football on ESPN+?
At the time of publication, no Florida Gators football games are scheduled to stream on ESPN+. But due to the SEC’s broadcast deal with ABC and ESPN networks, there could likely be one announced during the season. Florida does have a game on SEC Network+ against Long Island University on August 30 that can be accessed through the ESPN app.
How do I watch Florida Gators football if I live out of state?
For out-of-state fans, most Florida football games air nationally, so a good live TV streaming service will have you covered. Of course, some college football matchups have unique broadcast rights. That’s why it’s always best to check the TV schedule above for specific channel information.
