How To Watch 24 Hours of Le Mans on TV in the US

Don't miss endurance racing's most prominent event when the 24 Hours of Le Mans comes to truTV and HBO Max this June.

The 24 Hours of Le Mans is the ultimate showdown in motorsport endurance. Since 1923, drivers have been pushing the limits to see who can conquer the most distance within 24 grueling hours. And you can watch this year’s Le Mans on truTV and HBO Max.

Beyond its incredible test of will, this epic race is a cornerstone of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). It also holds a prestigious spot in the Triple Crown of Motorsport. Only the legendary Graham Hill has won all three races: F1‘s Monaco Grand Prix, the Indy 500, and Le Mans.

Whether you’re a diehard racing fan or just someone who loves fast cars, you won’t want to miss this year’s race. While previous editions were synonymous with Discovery Turbo (formerly MOTOR TREND), live coverage in the U.S. has shifted to the TNT Sports portfolio for this year’s run. Keep reading for more on how to watch the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the U.S.

What channel shows the 24 Hours of Le Mans?

The 2026 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans will stream on HBO Max and air on truTV in the U.S.

truTV is a traditional channel offered through most TV providers. But if you prefer streaming on HBO Max, you’ll need either its Standard ($18.49/mo.) or Premium ($22.99/mo.) plan to watch live sports like Le Mans.

Alternatively, hardcore racing fans can stream the event via FIAWEC+. In a major win for stateside followers, the service has lifted its historical U.S. geoblocking restrictions. You can buy a standalone Le Mans Race Pass for $24.99 or opt for the annual 365 Pass for $59.99, both of which grant full access to live qualifiers, practices, onboard cameras, and the entire 24-hour race.

Want radio coverage? You can follow the entire 24 Hours of Le Mans live with free English-language commentary on Radio Le Mans. It’s an excellent option for listening on the go or when you need a break from the screen.

24 Hours of Le Mans TV schedule

The 24 Hours of Le Mans returns to the iconic Circuit de la Sarthe in 2026, running from Saturday, June 13, to Sunday, June 14. Leading up to the green flag, you can also catch crucial practice and qualifying sessions, which offer a fantastic preview of this year’s cars and drivers.

As you plan your viewing, keep in mind that the main race broadcast is typically broken up into multiple segments. You might not notice this when watching live, but it’s a vital detail if you’re planning to record the race on truTV with a DVR. Either way, here’s a look at the complete 2026 Le Mans TV schedule.

Best TV plans for watching the 24 Hours of Le Mans

My favorite way to watch the 24 Hours of Le Mans is through HBO Max. The streaming service shifted its live sports content to its higher-tier plans in 2025, so you need the Standard ($18.49/mo.) or Premium ($22.99/mo.) to tune in. But those plans give you full access to the 2026 Le Mans race, practices, and qualifying sessions. You also avoid the pesky ads that make up the truTV broadcast.

What’s more, HBO Max comes with plenty of other motorsports action, including every FIA WEC race and weekly NASCAR coverage. It also hosts a massive selection of movies and TV shows for when the engines cool down. Side note: I love how HBO Max also includes tons of cycling coverage, which is perfect if your passion for racing extends to human-powered vehicles.

For those who remember MOTORTREND+, the service shut down in March 2024 and migrated its content to Discovery+ and HBO Max. Live auto racing events that once streamed on MOTORTREND+ are now available through HBO Max’s Sports hub. It costs slightly more per month, but HBO Max provides a much more reliable streaming experience than we had with MOTORTREND+.

Furthermore, while traditional cable viewers previously watched the race on the old MOTOR TREND channel, this year’s broadcast has officially shifted to truTV. If you have truTV access through a traditional TV provider, you can stream the channel on the go through the truTV app or your provider’s companion app.
