The Atlanta Dream made notable progress in 2024, reaching the postseason with a gritty performance and showing flashes of their growing potential. Led by rising stars Rhyne Howard and Allisha Gray, they snagged the 8th seed and battled into the playoffs, marking another step forward in the team’s long-term rebuild. Despite not finishing with a winning record, the Dream’s late-season push after the Olympic break hinted at a squad ready to turn the corner.
This season, though? There’s a whole new energy. Fueled by momentum and a bold offseason, Atlanta entered 2025 with renewed ambition. By signing some heavy hitters like Brittney Griner, Brionna Jones, and Shatori Walker-Kimbrough, along with the hiring of head coach Karl Smesko, the Dream improved their depth and chemistry on both ends of the court. I can’t wait to watch what new heights this revamped roster can reach.

2025 Atlanta Dream TV schedule
What a difference a year makes. After a tough, injury-plagued 2024 season, the Atlanta Dream roared back in 2025, finishing with an incredible 30–14 record and the top spot in the Eastern Conference. Now, the big question is whether they can translate that spectacular regular-season success into a deep playoff run.

Best TV plans for watching the Atlanta Dream
From where I’m sitting, there are two must-haves if you want to watch the Dream all season long: WNBA League Pass and a solid live TV streaming service like YouTube TV or Fubo. League Pass is perfect for catching every out-of-market game, and it even includes on-demand replays if you miss something live.
You’ll still want access to the big networks, and that’s where a service like YouTube TV or Fubo comes in, because they carry the key channels the Dream appear on this season. But you’ll still need a separate Amazon Prime Video subscription to watch its exclusive games.
I’ll break down the pros and cons of each option below, but if you’re looking for the simplest combo, League Pass + YouTube TV will have you covered from tip-off to playoffs.

YouTube TV ($82.99/mo.)
If you’re planning to catch as many Atlanta Dream games as possible this season, YouTube TV is a great place to start. It gives you access to key national channels like CBS, ESPN, ION, and NBA TV—all of which are carrying Dream games in 2025.
The only thing missing is Peachtree TV (WPCH) and Peachtree Sports Network (PSN), which handle local broadcasts in the Atlanta market. That may be a dealbreaker, but you decide if the price is worth it. If you’re in Georgia, you’ll want to check whether your provider includes those channels. DIRECTV STREAM and Fubo are solid options that do.

Fubo ($14.99–$94.99/mo.)
Fubo is a strong alternative to YouTube TV that carries key national channels like CBS, CBSSN, ESPN, ION, NBA TV, and even ABC.
It also includes Peachtree TV (WPCH) and Peachtree Sports Network (PSN) in the Atlanta market, so local fans won’t miss a single broadcast. That’s something not every streaming service can say.
If you’re looking for one platform that covers both national and local Dream games, Fubo checks a lot of boxes. Just make sure you’ve got the right add-ons for channels like NBA TV, depending on your plan.

WNBA LeaguePass ($12.99/mo.)
If you can’t always catch the Dream live, WNBA League Pass is the perfect way to stay locked in. It lets you stream out-of-market games and catch replays on demand.
Just know that local games (on Peachtree TV or PSN) and national broadcasts (like ESPN or CBS) may be blacked out live, but they’re usually available to rewatch later. It’s a solid choice if you’re outside Atlanta or need that on-your-time flexibility.
How to watch the Atlanta Dream for free
To be honest, there aren’t a ton of ways that you can watch the Atlanta Dream on TV for free in 2025. You can watch select Dream games for free over the air on Peachtree TV (WPCH) and Peachtree Sports Network (PSN) if you’re in the Atlanta area; you just need a digital antenna.
Some national games also stream for free on ION, while Prime Video occasionally offers a free trial. And if you’re outside the market, WNBA League Pass sometimes includes free game previews throughout the season.
