Katie Ledecky will compete in three individual swimming events at the 2024 Summer Olympics: the 400m, 800m, and 1500m freestyle. She will also participate in the 4x200m freestyle relay.
So far in the 2024 Olympics, Katie Ledecky has won gold in the 1500 and 800-meter and bronze in the 400-meter freestyle swim events. She’s also won silver in the 4×200-meter relay with teammates Paige Madden, Erin Gemmell, and Claire Weinstein.
If you’re unfamiliar with her stellar achievements, she’s the queen of gold among female swimmers. She holds the world record for the 800-meter freestyle and recently outdid her own world-record time in the 1500-meter freestyle at the June 2024 trials.
