As a longtime soccer fan, I’ve always loved the UEFA Europa League (UEL). While it may sit a tier below the Champions League, it’s a fantastic tournament packed with historic clubs, rising stars, and a level of unpredictability that makes for thrilling midweek soccer.

The great news for fans in the U.S. is that watching the Europa League is pretty straightforward. For English-language coverage, every single match streams live on Paramount+. But the Spanish-language broadcast is a team effort, with TelevisaUnivision platforms (like TUDN and ViX) and DAZN now sharing the rights.

To help you get ready for the next match day, I’ve created this guide to outline every way to watch the Europa League in the U.S. I also highlight free viewing options in case a TV subscription isn’t within your budget.

What channels have Europa League games?

You can catch all UEFA Europa League matches on Paramount+ and access additional coverage through CBS Sports Network.

If you prefer Spanish-language commentary, a combination of ViX and DAZN will get you every game. TelevisaUnivision channels like TUDN, UniMás, and Zona Fútbol also air select matches and related programming en Español.

UEFA Europa League schedule

The 2025–2026 UEFA Europa League season will begin on September 24 and end on May 20, with the final at Besiktas Stadium in Istanbul. While Champions League games mainly occur on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, most Europa League matches happen on Thursdays—apart from Matchday 1 and the final.

Here are this season’s key Europa League game dates so you can follow every round of action. I’ll update this guide with the exact TV schedule once we enter the knockout phase. In the meantime, you can visit CBS Sports’ Europa League Schedule for game times and channel listings.

  • League phase: Sept. 24–25; Oct. 2 and 23; Nov. 6 and 27; Dec. 14, 2025; and Jan. 22 and 29, 2026
  • Knockout phase playoffs: Feb. 19 and 26, 2026
  • Round of 16: March 12 and 19, 2026
  • Quarterfinals: April 9 and 16, 2026
  • Semifinals: April 30 and May 7, 2026
  • Europa League Final: May 20, 2026

Pros

  • Every UEL match this season (in English)
  • Inexpensive pricing
  • Large library of on-demand movies and shows

Cons

  • No CBS Sports Network access
  • Device limitations for certain playback controls

Paramount+ offers Europa League fans the ultimate viewing experience. The streaming service includes every match live and on demand with English-language commentary. While I always prefer watching games live, having on-demand access is crucial since UEL matches happen early on weekdays.

Beyond live games, Paramount+ has a variety of supplementary content. You can watch highlights, player interviews, and special programs like The Golazo Show, UEL Post Match Show, and UEL/UECL Magazine Show. There’s even a new Multiview feature specifically for UEFA events, but it’s currently only available on desktop.

One downside to Paramount+ is that it lacks premium channels like CBS Sports Network and Paramount Network. But that doesn’t hamper its Europa League coverage. Besides, Paramount+ has countless hours of movies, TV shows, and other live sports to support its budget-friendly subscription plans. It even includes UEFA Champions League and Conference League games.

Pros

  • Inexpensive pricing
  • Extensive movie and TV show library

Cons

  • Only select Europa League matches
  • Clunky interface

For Spanish-speaking fans, the Europa League viewing experience is a bit more complicated this year. But from my perspective, the best place to start is still ViX. Sure, the competition’s Spanish-language rights are now split with the more expensive DAZN, so you won’t get every single game. But for a fraction of the cost, ViX will still carry a large number of matches, making it the most budget-friendly option.

I think the ViX Premium plan is one of the best deals in streaming. For just under $10 a month, you’ll get a ton of UEFA matches, plus coverage from other competitions like Liga MX. It also includes the most extensive on-demand library of Spanish-language content in the U.S.

And here’s my biggest pro-tip for ViX: Don’t forget about the free stuff. The service always streams a few games for free each month under the “Gratis” banner. It’s worth downloading the app for this feature alone, even if you don’t subscribe.

Best Live TV Service: Hulu + Live TV

Pros

  • Large channel lineup
  • ESPN+ and Disney+ included

Cons

  • Limited UEL coverage included
  • Expensive plans with frequent price hikes

If you’re a serious European football fan, like I know you are, your TV setup needs to cover a lot of ground. From my perspective, the best all-in-one package to do that is Hulu + Live TV.

The secret sauce is how it handles ESPN+. While other services now offer ESPN+ access via ESPN Unlimited, Hulu + Live TV is the only one that fully integrates ESPN+ content into its live guide. That means you get content, like every single La Liga and Bundesliga match, right alongside traditional TV channels. It’s a huge, seamless upgrade for any fan who follows multiple sports.

Of course, you’ll still need the Europa League matches exclusive to Paramount+. The good news is that you can get Paramount+ Premium as a direct add-on through your Hulu account, keeping all your subscriptions under one bill.

How to watch the Europa League for free

While you’ll need a subscription to watch every match, there are a couple of fantastic options for catching some Europa League action for free.

My top recommendation is CBS Sports Golazo Network. It’s a free, 24/7 streaming channel that carries select live matches and studio shows throughout the tournament. You can also check out ViX, which sometimes streams a free Europa League game en Español on match days.

If you want to catch a specific game that isn’t on a free platform, your next best move is to use a Paramount+ free trial. Just remember to cancel before your time is up.
