How To Watch Wimbledon in 2026

Can't make it to the iconic Wimbledon grounds this summer? No worries! You can watch tournament coverage across ESPN platforms and Tennis Channel.

Wimbledon, one of the oldest and most prestigious events in sports, returns for its 139th edition in 2026. U.S. viewers can catch all the action across ESPN channels and platforms.

Founded in 1877, the tournament plays on grass courts at the All England Club in Southwest London. It’s one of four Grand Slam tennis competitions, alongside the Australian Open, French Open, and U.S. Open.

Hulu + Live TV is our favorite service for watching Wimbledon because it includes ESPN Select, which streams all ESPN+ content. We also like ESPN Unlimited for those who don’t need a full-blown TV plan.

Keep reading as we go over the required channels and tournament schedule for this year’s All England Club event.

What channel is Wimbledon on?

You can watch the Wimbledon Championships on ABC, ESPN, and ESPN2. All live matches and on-demand coverage will stream on ESPN+, while ESPN Deportes will air select matches with Spanish-language commentary.

Andy Roddick, who won the 2003 U.S. Open title, will make his ESPN debut as an analyst. Other notable commentators include Coco Vandeweghe, John McEnroe, and Malika Andrews.

Tennis Channel also shows complementary coverage throughout the tournament, including daily highlights, studio programming, and player interviews. While you don’t need Tennis Channel to watch Wimbledon, the network airs many ATP Tour and WTA Tour competitions throughout the year.

Pro tip: Tennis fans in Canada can watch Wimbledon coverage on TSN and RDS channels.

Best TV plans for watching Wimbledon

Hulu + Live TV stands out as the best TV service for watching Wimbledon because it includes every ESPN channel alongside ESPN Select (which houses ESPN+) at no extra cost. Starting at $89.99 a month, Hulu gets you the most Wimbledon coverage in a single TV plan. You also have the power of unlimited DVR storage and on-demand replays in case you can’t watch every Wimbledon round live.

The biggest downside to Hulu + Live TV is that Tennis Channel is available only in its Sports Add-On, which costs $9.99 a month. But Tennis Channel isn’t necessary for watching the core Wimbledon matches.

A budget-friendly yet comprehensive way to watch Wimbledon is with ESPN Unlimited. The standalone service costs just $29.99 per month and carries every ESPN-owned channel, as well as simulcasts events airing on ABC. ESPN is included with many live TV providers, including Hulu + Live TV. All you have to do is log in to the ESPN app with your credentials.

If you’re looking for an even less expensive plan, you can get ESPN Select on its own for $12.99 per month. It carries every match from every court, all replays, and daily highlights. You’ll even find Wimbledon documentaries to dive deeper into the tournament’s history.

How to watch Wimbledon for free

With most Wimbledon coverage on ESPN and ESPN+, there isn’t an easy way to tune in for free. Sure, Londoners can stop by Eccleston Yards for a free outdoor screening. But stateside fans don’t have that convenience.

Instead, you can try a free Fubo or YouTube TV streaming trial. It might not last you the entire tournament, but you get ABC and ESPN access during your trial period.

You can also use an over-the-air (OTA) antenna to pick up your local ABC station. Most antennas cost between $20 and $60, and you must verify ABC is within range. But having an antenna sets you up for watching many major sports events without a monthly subscription fee.

We recommend the Mohu Leaf 50 for its 60-mile range and multi-directional design. But antennas aren’t one-size-fits-all, so head to our Best OTA Antennas guide for a larger selection of antenna recommendations.

Pro tip: You can verify the OTA channels in your area by entering your zip code in Antennas Direct’s Transmitter Locator.
