Get free Peacock when you bundle with Xfinity internet
You might have heard that Xfinity customers get a free Peacock subscription. But if you’re at all familiar with internet service providers and their bundle deals, you might be approaching that claim with suspicion. What’s the catch? What does the fine print say?
As is our mission at CableTV.com, I’ve done the research so that you don’t have to. In this article, I’ll go in depth into all of the Xfinity-Peacock deal’s requirements, duration, and other important details.
Your mileage will vary based on your Xfinity plan
The most straightforward way to get free Peacock through Xfinity is with a Gigabit (or higher) internet plan. It’s available to both new and existing customers and will net you free access to Peacock Premium with your Xfinity login credentials. The only catch is that your perks will expire after two years, so enjoy them while you’ve got them.
If you have a lower-tier internet plan or have already used your two free years of Peacock, you still have a couple of options. The easiest is subscribing to NOW TV. This is different from Xfinity’s cable TV packages—NOW TV is a streaming service that you can add onto qualifying internet plans. It provides access to 125 live news and lifestyle channels including BBC News, Hallmark, HGTV, and Lifetime, and includes free Peacock. However, this does involve adding an additional $60.00 charge to your monthly bill, so you might be better off just subscribing to Peacock outright.
The cheaper, but more exclusive, option is to become an Xfinity Rewards member. Diamond and Platinum members can redeem Peacock Premium as a perk.
To qualify for a Diamond or Platinum Xfinity Rewards account, you must be an Xfinity customer for at least seven years. It also doesn’t trigger automatically—you’ll have to redeem the offer on Xfinity’s rewards page. If you don’t qualify, you’ll have to sign up for a higher-tier internet plan in order to receive free Peacock Premium.
Qualifying Xfinity customers can visit their subscription management page to log into Peacock using their Xfinity ID credentials.

Save more with Xfinity StreamSaver
While it’s not technically free Peacock, you do have another option to save some money with Xfinity. The StreamSaver bundle lets you save 40% when you bundle three streaming services (Apple TV+, Netflix Standard with Ads, and Peacock Premium with Ads) into your internet plan. Rather than the $25.97/mo. you’d pay separately for each service, StreamSaver brings the price down to a cool $15.00/mo.
If you’re big into streaming television, this is probably the way you want to go.
Getting Peacock without Xfinity
Trying to get free Peacock in a region that Xfinity doesn’t service? Unfortunately, Peacock doesn’t offer a free trial. But if you’d still like to try a Peacock subscription, you have two plan options available to you.

Hear from our Managing Editor
"I would never go back to Peacock with ads after using Peacock Premium Plus for five years. Late Night with Seth Meyer and Real Housewives of Salt Lake City without commercials is worth the extra $6.00 a month."
