Frontier internet plans and bundles
Frontier puts its best foot forward by offering unlimited data on all of its plans. Many internet providers place unnecessary restrictions on how much you can use the internet, and these data caps can be a real pain in the patootie.
But Frontier’s fatal flaw is its crumbling High-Speed Internet network. Rather than updating those areas from their original DSL technology to superior fiber-optic cables, Frontier went with the “make money now” route of eeking out as much life from the original DSL lines as it could.
This short-sighted plan caused problems for a lot of customers, and eventually led to Frontier’s bankruptcy last year. The internet company lives on, and it has promised its investors it will clean up its act and finally install the fiber-optic cables its customers deserve (and should make more money for Frontier in the long run).

If you live in California, Florida, Indiana, or Texas, you might be able to get Frontier FiOS internet plans. That rocks—Simply FiOS 500/500 is an especially standout deal.
And even Connecticut customers can snag some choice internet packages on Frontier’s Vantage network. However, you may have to pair your internet plan with a telephone plan because Frontier hasn’t advertised standalone Vantage internet packages as far as we’ve seen.
But more importantly, if you live in any other state where Frontier provides internet services, you’re in a tight spot. The most you can hope for is 115 Mbps for around $50. Don’t get us wrong—that’s a lovely speed at an okay price.
Despite the sweet speeds of that 115 Mbps plan, many areas of the Frontier High-Speed Internet network don’t get anywhere near as much bandwidth. We found a space in Georgia where only the basic Frontier Internet package is available, and it reaches only 3 Mbps—but still costs $27.99 per month. That earns a big yikes from us.

Frontier has its own TV service, but it’s not accepting new customers right now. Frontier hasn’t been entirely clear about why, but this hold on TV service may be because of installation worries with the COVID-19 pandemic. There’s no word as to when Frontier will once again accept new cable TV customers, but we’ll update this page once Frontier releases more information.
In the meantime, you can bundle your Frontier service with DISH’s satellite TV. You can see the full list of Frontier and DISH bundles in our DISH review. There’s no discount for bundling these services, so expect to pay the big bucks if you go this route.

If you want phone service, we recommend bundling your Frontier phone with Frontier internet. Even if you barely use the internet, you might save a bunch of money by bundling.
Standalone Frontier phone plans cost anywhere from $32.99 to $66.99 per month—depending on where you live. But once you bundle your phone with an internet plan, the phone portion of your service essentially costs $10 per month.
