Sometimes you hear people mention “Netflix horror” like it’s a bad thing—and sometimes that’s correct. But the quality-to-quantity ratio among the 210+ horror movies on Netflix (and its 40+ horror TV series) ain’t that bad. And here’s what else Netflix has going for it in the spooks department:
- Scores of Netflix Originals
- Dozens of horror series
- Strong international horror selection
- Creep series
- Fear Street Series
So coming up with 31 horror movies to watch on Netflix in October was a snap (somewhere, a bone breaks)! My curated list of horror movies to watch on the big red “N” include everything from classic creature features (“Alien,” “Jaws”) to Netflix exclusives like the Fear Street series and new stuff like both “28 Years Later” movies. Check out the full list with its special double-features and themed weekends below!
