I’ve dedicated the first weekend of October to slashers, with three slashy classics: The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Sleepaway Camp, and Prom Night. The following weekend goes to the most diabolically creative, taboo-breaking, slasher ever: Art the Clown in Terrifier, Terrifier 2, and Terrifier 3! On the fourth weekend, it’s all about John Carpenter with the extra-gross sci-fi horror classic The Thing and the director’s anthology film Body Bags. Then on Halloween, it’s back to Carpenter with Halloween II.
