Technically, Tubi has the biggest horror library of any streaming service—second only to Amazon Prime Video and its massive selection of video-on-demand (VOD) titles. But I prioritize curated subscription-based services—so Shudder still wins.
That being said, Tubi’s library of 9,000+ horror films and 200+ horror series is pretty massive, but its lack of curation means there’s an awful lot of trash horror (not the good trash, either). But that doesn’t mean you won’t find tons of the good stuff to watch. Tubi has:
- A massive horror library that’s quality-rich but also littered with trash
- Extreme horror/gore movies
- Many obscure titles
- No price tag (kinda)
Tubi is free because it’s ad-supported, which means you pay with your time. That adds around 15–25 minutes to each 90–120 minute movie. It’s worth it—especially if you’re on a tight budget, or you can’t find a particular film anywhere else. But it doesn’t really lend itself to double- or triple-features.
