How To Watch the 2026 Detroit Tigers Season

The good times have returned to Comerica Park! Follow the Detroit Tigers all season long with our unbeatable watch guide.

I had a blast watching the Detroit Tigers last season after that thrilling postseason run, even if it meant heartbreak in the end. That’s why I think fans will be excited for the 2026 season.

Keeping tabs on the Tigers will feel different for fans due to the MLB taking over broadcast rights for their games. I’ll expand on that later.

If you want to know how to watch every Detroit Tigers game in 2026, keep reading.

What channels have Detroit Tigers games?

When the Detroit Tigers aren’t playing in front of national audiences on Apple TV, ESPN, FOX, FS1, MLB Network, and Peacock, fans can watch their games on a channel distributed by the MLB. The name of the channel hasn’t been announced yet, but it’ll likely include the team’s name.

If that channel is unavailable where you live, you’ll need MLB.TV or MLB EXTRA INNINGS to watch out-of-market Tigers games.

Want radio coverage? You can listen to every Tigers game on 97.1 FM The Ticket or an affiliate near you. Spanish broadcasts are also available for home games on LaZ 1310 AM and 107.9 FM.

How to watch Detroit Tigers Spring Training games

Detroit starts its Spring Training schedule against the New York Yankees on February 21. What’s notable about the Tigers this season, however, is three exhibition games in the Dominican Republic—two against the host country, and one against Panama.

The Tigers close Spring Training with two games against the Colorado Rockies. Check out the full schedule below. I’ll update it as more viewing information becomes available.

Detroit finishes the regular season with six straight home games. It has a three-game series against the Washington Nationals, followed by a series against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Best TV plans for watching the Detroit Tigers

My pick for national coverage of the Detroit Tigers is DIRECTV. It will include your local FOX and NBC stations and FS1. I also suggest subscribing to Peacock Premium for any games streaming exclusively on that platform.

Local fans will have a different viewing experience in 2026. The Tigers recently ended their relationship with FanDuel Sports Network and partnered with the Detroit Red Wings for a new streaming channel, which was announced as Detroit SportsNet in early March.

Detroit SportsNet costs $19.99 per month or $189.99 per year. The channel’s availability on cable and satellite providers is yet to be announced, but it’s expected to be available through multiple major companies.
