After reaching the pinnacle of baseball and winning the World Series in 2023, the Texas Rangers struggled a season ago. They finished with a 78–84 record and missed the playoffs. It wasn’t the year they hoped for, but it’s now in the past.
That leads us to 2025, where my biggest question is, “Which Rangers team will we see?” Will they be a team capable of winning another championship or one that finishes with a losing record for the eighth time in nine years? I think both are very possible, which should make the Rangers one of the more interesting teams to follow all season long.

What channels have Texas Rangers games?
During the 2025 MLB season, the Texas Rangers will play most of their games—nearly 150 of them—on Rangers Sports Network. They will also play on Apple TV+, ESPN, FOX, and MLB Network.
And for the first time since 2014, fans who live in the Rangers’ TV territory can watch select games with an over-the-air (OTA) antenna. The team’s initial schedule includes 15 games that will originate from its flagship station, KDAF-TV (CW33) in Dallas–Fort Worth, and be carried by other local affiliates throughout the region.

Best TV plans for watching the Texas Rangers
After reviewing the traditional cable and digital TV providers that offer Rangers Sports Network, I believe the best choice for Texas Rangers fans is Fubo. My reasoning is pretty simple: It includes all the channels fans need to watch the Rangers when they play on TV, and it’s the most affordable option.
With that being said, every option has a downside. Fubo’s flaw is the required fee that comes with watching regional sports networks. However, it’s comparable to other providers like DIRECTV and Spectrum. So when you look at it that way, is it really that big of a negative? Probably not.
The only time you won’t be able to watch the Rangers with Fubo, another TV provider, or the standalone in-market viewing option below is when they play on Apple TV+. That requires a separate subscription.
Standalone in-market TV package for Rangers games
As the official streaming home of the Texas Rangers, Victory+ is set to broadcast nearly 150 of the team’s games this MLB season. I love this option for local fans because it eliminates channel surfing and the need for a long-term commitment. There are also no hidden fees, which is always a victory in and of itself.
The only downside I see with Victory+ is that full-game replays are only available for 48 hours after the original broadcast ends. However, you can still watch game highlights after that.
Victory+ device compatibility is also not very robust. But it’s available on the most popular platforms, including Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Roku.
2025 Texas Rangers TV schedule
Despite entering 2025 with a 61% chance to make the playoffs, the Rangers find themselves on the outside looking in as the regular season winds down. I’d say offensive struggles are the reason why. As of July 23, the team is tied with the Pirates for the third-lowest batting average in the league.
While that is frustrating for the Rangers and their fans, all it takes is one night to get the bats going. If the Rangers can find a way to do so, they have the pitching to be a very dangerous team.
