2026 Texas Rangers schedule and game times
The last two seasons for the Texas Rangers haven’t been as good as 2023, when they won their sole World Series. But they remain one of the more compelling teams in the American League, making the Rangers TV schedule a must-follow in 2026.
Because MLB game times and TV channels constantly shift, keeping up with the daily action can be overwhelming. I built this guide to help you find out exactly when and where the Rangers play at any point in the season, so you never have to stress on game day.

Key dates for the 2026 Rangers season
The MLB season is packed with critical matchups and shifting storylines. Here are a few key stretches that every Rangers fan should circle on their 2026 calendar.
- Home Opener (April 3): The Rangers won’t have their home opener until early April, when they face the Cincinnati Reds. Before that game, they kick off the regular season with a six-game road trip.
- AL West matchups: Fans should be most dialed into series against the Houston Astros, but also keep an eye on the Mariners, Athletics, and Angels. Much of April is focused on games against NL West teams, as is the back half of August.
- MLB All-Star Week (July 11–14): Expect to see some Texas talent participating in this days-long celebration of professional baseball, as the 2026 All-Star Game takes place at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. The weekend will also include the Home Run Derby.
- MLB Trade Deadline (Aug. 3): This year’s deadline is Monday, August 3, at 6:00 p.m. ET. The Rangers could be looking to improve the roster if they’re just one or two moves away from contention.
Best Globe Life Field promotional nights in 2026

Fans can snag a Hello Kitty Jersey on April 25 or grab a Whataburger Cap on April 27. As the summer heats up, the Rangers will hand out an incredible Nolan Ryan Bloody Lip Jersey on May 29, followed by a Corey Seager Hitting Bobblehead on July 2.
The Rangers also love their $1 Hot Dog Nights. But there are plenty of other cool promotions to consider while attending a game at Globe Life Field.
