Typically, if you can get a channel’s content on both Max and Discovery+, I’d recommend you get Max. Max has tons of Warner Bros. Discovery content, plus tons of premium content and HBO shows.
But due to a May 2025 exodus of Discovery content from the platform, a lot of TLC content has been removed from Max (boo!). So, Discovery+ it is.
Discovery+ isn’t a bad platform by any means. With mountains of content from Warner Bros. Discovery channels like TLC, HGTV, and the Magnolia Network, you’ll easily be able to get your reality TV fix with a Discovery+ sub.
What’s on TLC?
Like I mentioned earlier, I used to freaking love TLC back in the late aughts and early 2010s. Shows like Jon & Kate Plus 8 and Little People, Big World were peak back then. And don’t get me started on how much What Not to Wear I watched with my mom.
