Key dates for the 2026 Phillies season
The MLB season is a marathon of games and storylines, ups and downs. To help distill that a little bit, I outlined some milestones that could be important for the Phillies in 2026.
- Home Opener (March 26): The first Phillies home game is on MLB Opening Day, and it’s a matchup against the Texas Rangers.
- NL East matchups: Fans are gonna want to pay attention to games against divisional opponents like the Mets, Marlins, Braves, and Nationals. The second half of June could be a huge stretch for the Phillies because they play 13 games against NL East teams.
- MLB All-Star Week (July 11–14): Phillies players are almost guaranteed to be participants in this days-long celebration of professional baseball, as the 2026 All-Star Game is at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.
- MLB Trade Deadline (Aug. 3): The Phillies could try to improve their roster before this year’s deadline—Monday, August 3, at 6:00 p.m. ET—to gear up for a potentially deep postseason run.
Best Citizens Bank Park promotional nights in 2026
The Phillies’ home arena is sure to be a great place on game days this season. Beyond the action on the diamond, the team has packed the calendar with exciting theme nights and premium giveaways.
Early in the year, fans can celebrate Jackie Robinson Day on April 15 or grab tickets for Star Wars Night on June 3. As the summer heats up, Citizens Bank Park will host back-to-back post-game fireworks shows on June 30 and July 1, followed by a highly anticipated Kyle Schwarber bobblehead giveaway on August 21.
The theme nights continue into the fall with Harry Potter Night on September 24. But be sure to visit the team’s official promotional schedule for a complete list of upcoming promos.
