‘The Amazing Digital Circus’ Is Over. Here’s What to Watch Next.

What shows are like ‘The Amazing Digital Circus?’
“The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act” began its theatrical run on June 4, 2026, scoring $20.24 million in the first four days and breaking the record for Fathom Entertainment’s biggest opening weekend ever. It even transcended mediums to inspire an uncanny Fortnite collab.
If you missed the theatrical phenomenon, don’t worry—like the rest of the show, the finale is coming to YouTube for free on June 19. But whether you watched the finale in theaters or on YouTube, you’re probably left wanting more. Is there any show out there that captures the same feeling?
You’re in luck. Recommending animated shows is kind of my whole thing. Here are some titles that I feel have the same vibes.
‘Big Top Burger’ | YouTube
If you’d asked me about an indie YouTube animation project about a clown working at a fast food restaurant a year or two ago, I wouldn’t have thought about “TADC.” I would have thought about “Big Top Burger,” the phenomenal animated series from Worthikids.
If you want to see everything the 3D modeling/animation software Blender is capable of, or you’re just really into the musical “Cats,” you’ll want to check this one out.
‘Gameoverse’ | YouTube
“The Amazing Digital Circus” really thrust Glitch Productions into the spotlight, giving them the means to greenlight a ton of other shows. One of those shows is “Gameoverse,” a 2D animated show from YouTuber RubberRoss. The pilot is currently streaming for free on YouTube, and I have a feeling more is on the way.
It’s a little like “Wreck-It Ralph” in that it follows fictional video game characters jumping from world to world, but it’s a little more complicated than that. When a player beats a game, the world blows up. And the surviving characters are left with a lot to process.
‘The Hollow’ | Netflix
“The Hollow” is a show about a group of kids who wake up in a strange world with no memories, and no guidance other than a single wacky guy. Sound familiar?
This show is best experienced with no context, so just go watch it already!
‘Knights of Guinevere’ | YouTube
“Knights of Guinevere” is another Glitch pilot being turned into a full series. It’s from “The Owl House” creator Dana Terrace, but this time she doesn’t have the Mouse holding her back from getting good and gory.
“KoG” is about two mechanics who find a broken-down animatronic from a futuristic theme park planet. But there’s more to this animatronic than meets the eye. Is she alive? What is alive? And why is an old lady intent on torturing her? I’m excited to find out.
‘Infinity Train’ | VOD
Warner Bros. Discovery has committed a lot of sins, but one of the ones that hurt the most was the cancellation of fan-favorite animated show “Infinity Train.” While it originally aired on HBO Max, you can now only watch it on video-on-demand (VOD) or DVD.
The titular train appears to people precisely when they need it; they get on, receive a mysterious glowing number on their hand, and have to solve a series of puzzles in increasingly surreal train cars.
‘GNOSIA’ | Crunchyroll
I bet you thought my anime recommendation would be “Sword Art Online.” I can’t believe you’d think I was so pedestrian! Instead, my pick is “GNOSIA,” an anime about an amnesiac stuck in a time loop and a hidden-role game. It’s like “Among Us,” yes, but it gets way wackier and way sadder.
And I’m not sure I fully 100% understood the ending. But that’s okay. “The Amazing Digital Circus” is about accepting your circumstances, and I’ve accepted mine.
