Does Paramount Plus have a free trial?
No, unfortunately, Paramount+ no longer offers a free trial. Paramount quietly eliminated its standard 7-day free trial for direct sign-ups in early 2026. So now, when you go to the Paramount+ website or try to sign up through the app, you’ll be prompted to select a paid plan immediately.
But even though a direct Paramount+ free trial is a thing of the past, you don’t necessarily have to pay full price—or pay at all—if you take advantage of some third-party bundles, provider perks, and special promotions.

Don’t want the pricey PREMIER plan? You can still get Paramount+ for free with DIRECTV. New subscribers on lower-tier DIRECTV plans receive a complimentary 3-month trial period of Paramount+ (and HBO Max, STARZ, Cinemax, and MGM+) upon sign-up.
Walmart+
A Walmart+ subscription ($12.95/mo. or $98.00/yr.) includes a full subscription to the Paramount+ Essential plan at no additional cost. If you already pay for Walmart+, you effectively get Paramount+ for free.
