Free or discounted Netflix, Apple TV, Hulu, Paramount+

T-Mobile’s known for its aggressive deals, and this extends to several popular streaming services. Depending on your exact T-Mobile internet or cell phone plans, you can get multiple free or discounted subscriptions.

  • Get Apple TV for only $3/mo. with a Better Value or Experience cell phone plan
  • Get Hulu (With Ads) and Paramount+ Essential included with T-Mobile All-In 5G Home Internet
  • Get Netflix Standard with Ads included with an Experience Beyond or Experience More cell phone plan

If you’re looking to add another streamer to your catalog, we’re huge fans of Apple TV. Apple’s streamer runs on the boutique side thanks to its modest on-demand catalog, but it won one of our 2026 Best of the Best Awards thanks to the number of must-have shows it offers.

Apple TV is one of the last old-school streaming services. Its policies are right out of 2019: It only offers one, medium-priced tier, and doesn’t charge more to remove ads. There aren’t any ads at all, in fact, making good on the promise that streaming services made when they all convinced us to turn away from cable TV to begin with […]

Apple TV has been cranking out some serious bangers lately. “Severance” and “Murderbot” were excellent, and “Pluribus” and “The Studio” are doing very well this award season.

YouTube TV

YouTube TV offers the best combination of features we’ve seen for a live TV streamer, thanks to its deep channel count and best-in-class cloud DVR. In our review, we were also huge fans of YouTube TV’s app interface, which borrows several cues from the YouTube app and remains extremely easy to use.

Here’s a cool YouTube TV customization feature: You can arrange channels however you like. What? Brace yourselves, television traditionalists: YouTube TV, like other live TV streaming services, doesn’t assign numbers to its channels. You can, however, bring order to this anarchy by stacking your preferred channels to the top of the grid for quick access.

Hulu + Live TV

Hulu + Live TV offers one of the best two-for-one TV streaming packages, as you’ll get a full live TV channel lineup alongside one of the best on-demand libraries around. Hulu’s catalog includes hit shows and movies like “The Bear”, “9-1-1-: Nashville”, and “Palm Springs.”

As our Hulu review pointed out, Hulu’s price point is relatively close to other major TV streamers:

Hulu + Live TV is most comparable to YouTube TV and Fubo these days, offering a lot of channels and cloud DVR space at a higher monthly price than slimmer live TV streaming services like Sling TV and Philo. However, Hulu + Live TV still has the advantage of being paired up with Hulu’s on-demand library (and Disney+’s and ESPN Select’s, technically).

Philo

Need to save some money if you’re spending a lot on T-Mobile cell phone service? Philo offers a budget-friendly price tag and a respectable cable channel lineup that includes must-haves like AMC, Food Network, and Comedy Central.

That said, Philo has a few notable compromises. To get that low price, Philo doesn’t include live sports or local channels like ABC or NBC. However, our Best of the Best rankings highlighted how Philo can still be a great fit if you’re not a sports fan or are willing to pair your TV with an over-the-air antenna.

But the trade-off is often worth it. You get a slick, intuitive user experience that rivals services three times the cost, plus a history of relative price stability. Even with the recent adjustment, Philo has only raised its rates three times since 2017—a rarity in the streaming world.

Final take: T-Mobile offers great value for streaming

T-Mobile might not be in the TV game for now, but you won’t have to settle for a poor-quality home TV experience with T-Mobile. T-Mobile Fiber and 5G Home Internet offer more than enough bandwidth for a live TV streaming service.

If you’re on a qualifying T-Mobile cell phone plan, you could also get a full on-demand streaming bundle for much less than Verizon or AT&T customers. Whether you’re getting streaming for yourself or your whole family, you’ll find a lot to like with T-Mobile when it comes to live TV or on-demand streaming, thanks to T-Mobile’s fast internet speeds.
