Need to save some money if you’re spending a lot on T-Mobile cell phone service? Philo offers a budget-friendly price tag and a respectable cable channel lineup that includes must-haves like AMC, Food Network, and Comedy Central.
That said, Philo has a few notable compromises. To get that low price, Philo doesn’t include live sports or local channels like ABC or NBC. However, our Best of the Best rankings highlighted how Philo can still be a great fit if you’re not a sports fan or are willing to pair your TV with an over-the-air antenna.
But the trade-off is often worth it. You get a slick, intuitive user experience that rivals services three times the cost, plus a history of relative price stability. Even with the recent adjustment, Philo has only raised its rates three times since 2017—a rarity in the streaming world.
