“CIA” | Paramount+ | Drama
Series premiere, Monday, Feb. 23: This “FBI” spinoff from the mind of Dick Wolf was originally called “FBI: CIA,” but that title (besides being wildly incorrect) aptly evokes Adult Swim’s “NTSF:SD:SUV,” so I can see why they changed it. Anyone who’s watched any Wolf crime procedurals should already know most of what to expect (like a formula!), but here are some deets anyway: “When by-the-book FBI Special Agent Bill Goodman (Nick Gehlfuss) is loaned out to a clandestine CIA/FBI task force, he finds himself teamed up with secretive and roguish CIA Agent Colin Glass (Tom Ellis). Together they will work covert operations in New York, uncovering international plots, terrorist cells, and geopolitical secrets.”

New on NBC and Peacock this week
Season 10 premiere, Wednesday, Feb. 25: In this comedy from executive producer Tina Fey and starring Tracy Morgan (what was that show they worked on, again?), an ex-football player needs to improve his image. To that end, he hires a documentary filmmaker (Daniel Radcliffe, from those one movies) to work his magic. The first episode previewed live on NBC in January and will run again tonight, followed by a new episode. Eps stream the following day on Peacock.

“Paradise” | Hulu | Drama
Season 2 premiere, Monday, Feb. 23: After a debut season centered on a presidential assassination, Hulu’s hit sci-fi/political thriller returns with new stakes and a significantly expanded scope. Creator Dan Fogelman (“This Is Us”) continues to leverage Sterling K. Brown’s powerhouse performance as Secret Service agent Xavier Collins. This season, the mystery shifts from investigating a national tragedy to a desperate search for Collins’ own family. After the three-episode premiere tonight, new chapters drop on Mondays
New on ABC and Hulu this week
Season 10 premiere, Wednesday, Feb. 25: Man, Bill Lawrence is everywhere in 2006. He’s got the fourth season of “Ted Lasso,” the third season of “Shrinking,” the Steve Carell show “Rooster,” and even this revival of his beloved medical comedy. While not every cast member returns full-time, we’ll at least get to see Carla (Judy Reyes) and Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley) in guest spots. But whither Janitor (Neil Flynn)? I guess we’ll find out, but at least we get to catch back up with J.D. (Zach Braff), Turk (Donald Faison), and Elliot (Sarah Chalke). Are they older and wiser, ready to continue guiding future doctors? Episodes will air live on ABC and stream on Hulu (and Disney+) the following day.

“DTF St. Louis” | HBO, HBO Max | Comedy, drama
Limited series premiere, Sunday, Mar. 1, 9 p.m. ET: The dramedy starring David Harbour (“Stranger Things”), Jason Bateman (“Ozark”), and Linda Cardellini (“Freaks and Geeks”) comes from creator Steven Conrad, who gave us the incredible—and gone far too soon—series “Patriot” (one of my all-time favorite shows). The series, once based on a true story, is now about a love triangle triggered by midlife malaise that leaves one of them dead. Episodes drop one-at-a-time, weekly, starting Sunday.

“Marshals” | CBS, Paramount+ | Comedy, drama
Series premiere, Sunday, Mar. 1, 8 p.m. ET: Geez. Yellowstone spouts spinoffs like a wet pet Mogwai (sorry for crossing genre streams, folks). “Marshals,” formerly titled “Y: Marshals,” is the latest of these shows, (until “The Madison” premieres in two weeks), and it’s a police procedural (somewhere, the “Law & Order” sound plays). Actor/singer Luke Grimes returns as Kayce Dutton, a Navy SEAL who’s joined the U.S. Marshals in Montana, bringing along other “Yellowstone” alums Arielle Kebbel, Gil Birmingham, and Mo Brings Plenty.

“Arco” (2026) | Animation, science fiction
This colorful French animated science fiction flick from Ugo Bienvenu follows 10-year-old time-traveler Arco, who’s looking for a way to get back to the future. The English-dubbed voice cast includes Will Ferrell, Mark Ruffalo, and Andy Samberg. Natalie Portman produced the film, which is up for the Best Picture Oscar. You can rent “Arco” from video-on-demand (VOD) outlets like Prime Video, Google Movies & TV, and Fandango at Home (formerly VUDU) as of Tuesday, Feb. 24.
