Peacock is primarily an on-demand streaming service with thousands of TV shows and movies at your fingertips, but it also streams live TV. Well, sort of.
Unlike YouTube TV or Sling TV, Peacock’s only true live channel is your local NBC affiliate—available with the Premium Plus plan. Beyond that, Peacock has 75+ FAST channels streaming 24/7 loops of movies and shows from its library, similar to Pluto TV or Tubi.
Peacock users in certain locations can get NBC Sports Regional Networks as an add-on subscription for additional live, in-market sports coverage.

Peacock has live TV channels, too
Peacock does feature a mix of live and on-demand channels, including event-based streams and rebroadcasts of NBC News programming from channels in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, and South Florida. If you subscribe to the higher-tier Peacock Premium Plus plan, you also get live access to your local NBC affiliate—similar to how Paramount+ Premium includes live CBS.
For sports fans, Peacock offers live NBC Sunday Night Football games, Premier League soccer matches, premium WWE events, exclusive Summer and Winter Olympics coverage, two NFL playoff games in 2026, and Super Bowl LX.
Those in select markets can also add on an NBC Sports RSN subscription for 24/7 access to regional channels like NBC Sports Bay Area, NBC Sports Boston, NBC Sports California, or NBC Sports Philadelphia.
Most of Peacock’s other channels are self-explanatory, like Law & Order (episodes from the L&O universe) and SNL Vault (Saturday Night Live sketches and videos).
