The 2024 NFL season is officially on the way, which means that NFL games will soon be available on Peacock. You’ll be able to watch most Sunday Night Football games on Peacock and NBC, but as always, NBC’s streaming service will get one NFL game to itself this season.
Looking for a reason to sign up for Peacock? Want to watch every NFL game this year? Keep on reading to learn more about watching NFL games on Peacock for the 2024–2025 season.
Peacock NFL schedule 2024–2025
Peacock will simulcast every NBC NFL game this season, and it’ll also be home to Week 1’s biggest game.
On Friday, September 6, the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles will face off in São Paulo, Brazil, and the game will stream exclusively on Peacock at 8:15 p.m. ET. The matchup is part of the NFL’s International Games series, and it’ll mark the league’s first game in South America.
On the field, the Packers and quarterback Jordan Love will look to continue their momentum after finishing off last year with a playoff appearance. As for the Eagles, they’ve retooled heavily after some late-season struggles, and we’ll see if they’ve paid off against Green Bay.
Why is Packers vs. Eagles exclusively on Peacock?
Peacock has regularly placed football matchups and other sports behind its paywall thanks to NBC’s broadcast agreements with leagues like the NFL. During the college football season, Ohio State, Iowa, and Notre Dame are among the teams that regularly have Peacock-exclusive matchups.
Peacock is one of our favorite mid-major streaming services—it’s home to The Office and streaming originals like Poker Face—so we recommend it if you want to add another streamer to your rotation. But if you’re only looking for NFL game access, we understand if you’re a little peeved.
