Key dates for the 2026 Orioles season
The number of Orioles games during the season can be daunting. That’s why I analyzed the schedule and broke out a few stretches and dates that could matter a lot for Baltimore in 2026.
- Home Opener (March 26): The Orioles start their season at Camden Yards against the Minnesota Twins.
- AL East matchups: Games against the New York Yankees, Tampa Bay Rays, Toronto Blue Jays, and Boston Red Sox hold a lot of weight. Keep a close eye on May and early June, when the Orioles play 23 games against divisional opponents.
- MLB All-Star Week (July 11–14): Baltimore had a player in the All-Star Game last year. If the team improves in 2026, it’s likely fans will see more in action at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.
- MLB Trade Deadline (Aug. 3): The Orioles were active before last year’s deadline. It remains to be seen what they’ll do this year, but it’s clear they’re not shy about making moves.
Best Camden Yards promotional nights in 2026
Camden Yards is one of the most iconic baseball venues in the country. Watching games there is on par with visiting Wrigley Field or Fenway Park, and the promotional schedule is a bonus.
If you’re fortunate enough to attend a game in-person this year, there are several theme nights and giveaways that stand out to me. This year, I have my eye on Tupac Bobblehead Night (May 8), Anime Night (June 29), Orioles Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony (August 1), and Hispanic Heritage Night (September 18).

Baltimore Orioles TV schedule FAQ
How many games are on the Orioles schedule?
The Orioles play a standard 162-game regular season, with roughly half at Camden Yards. That number will increase if they make the playoffs.
Who are the Orioles' biggest rivals?
The New York Yankees remain the Orioles' primary divisional foe, but the Boston Red Sox and Toronto Blue Jays make for equally heated AL East matchups. There's also the Beltway Series against the Washington Nationals, which always draws massive crowds.
How long does an Orioles game last?
Thanks to the MLB pitch clock, most Orioles games now wrap up in a crisp two hours and 40 minutes. While high-scoring battles can still push past the three-hour mark, the days of four-hour matchups are largely a thing of the past.
What time do Orioles home games start?
Standard weeknight games at Camden Yards typically feature a 6:35 p.m. ET first pitch, while most Saturday games shift to 4:05 p.m. ET. Sundays remain a tradition for families, with almost every home game starting at the fan-favorite 1:35 p.m. ET slot.
