The Winnipeg Jets are ready for takeoff as the 2025–2026 NHL season begins. After a strong run last year that carried them deep into the Western Conference race, the Jets have shown they can skate with the league’s best. Kyle Connor remains an elite scorer, Josh Morrissey steadies the blue line, and NHL MVP Connor Hellebuyck is back to give Winnipeg top-tier goaltending every night.
Jets fans know this team is a tough out when the supporting cast chips in. With a mix of proven stars, steady leadership, and young players finding their stride, Winnipeg has the right balance to stay competitive in a stacked Central Division.
And keeping up with every shift is just as important as the action itself. Whether you’re tuning in on TSN in Canada, catching national broadcasts in the U.S., or following out of market, I’ve created this guide to show you exactly where to watch the Jets on TV this season.

What channels have Winnipeg Jets games?
How to watch in Canada
The Winnipeg Jets’ regional home is TSN3, which will broadcast 60 regular-season games in 2025–2026. Streaming coverage is available on TSN.ca and the TSN app for viewers in the Jets’ designated market. That broadcast territory includes Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Nunavut, the Northwest Territories, and parts of Northwestern Ontario.
The remaining 22 regular-season games will air nationally on Hockey Night in Canada (CBC/Sportsnet), Sportsnet’s Wednesday Night Hockey, and Amazon Prime Video’s Monday Night Hockey.
How to watch in the United States
In the U.S., select Winnipeg Jets games will air nationally on ABC, ESPN, and TNT. But the vast majority are available through NHL Power Play on ESPN+. This streaming service is essential for any U.S.-based Jets fan, as it carries over 1,050 out-of-market NHL games each season.
Additionally, ESPN+ and Hulu stream a handful of exclusive national games, giving you another reason to have ESPN+.

Best TV plans for watching the Winnipeg Jets
The best way to watch the Jets depends on where you’re tuning in from. To help you catch every game, I’ve broken down the top TV and streaming options for fans in both Canada and the United States.
Jets coverage in Canada
For fans in Manitoba and the Jets’ broader regional market, TSN3 is essential. It carries 60 regular-season games split evenly between home and road broadcasts. You’ll also need Sportsnet for the 13 Hockey Night in Canada games and five Wednesday Night Hockey appearances. On top of that, Amazon Prime Video is a must for its four exclusive Monday night games.
Most Canadian cable providers offer TSN3 and Sportsnet. But if you prefer streaming only, you’ll need separate subscriptions to TSN Direct, Sportsnet+, and Prime Video.
Jets channels for American fans
In the U.S., Winnipeg’s national games air on ESPN and TNT Sports channels, with a few exclusive matchups streaming on ESPN+/Hulu. For nearly every other matchup, ESPN+ is your go-to service, streaming all out-of-market action.
If you want almost everything in one place, I recommend Hulu + Live TV because it bundles ESPN+ with Hulu’s live channel lineup. That way, you’ll have all the national channels plus every out-of-market game in one package. You’ll only miss out on NHL Network coverage and games airing on your local NHL team’s regional channel (RSN), as Hulu + Live TV carries very few RSNs.
How to watch the Winnipeg Jets for free
You won’t be able to stream every Jets game without paying, but with a bit of planning, you can still catch some matchups for free.
In Canada, select Jets games air on CBC’s Hockey Night in Canada, which streams free on CBC Gem with no subscription required. CBC is also available over the air with a digital antenna in areas served by affiliate stations.
In the U.S., your best bet is signing up for a free trial with services like DIRECTV or YouTube TV. Each carries ESPN, ABC, and TNT—the main networks for the Jets’ national games. Free trials typically last five to seven days, providing a window to catch a few key games if you time it right.
How to watch the Winnipeg Jets FAQ
How can I watch out-of-market Winnipeg Jets games?
In Canada, Jets coverage outside Manitoba depends on where you live. TSN remains the main English-language broadcaster, while RDS carries select games in French. National matchups also appear on Sportsnet (Hockey Night in Canada and Wednesday Night Hockey) and Prime Video’s Monday Night Hockey. For U.S. fans, ESPN+ streams all out-of-market NHL games. But blackouts still occur when the Jets play your local team or appear on national broadcasts.
Can I stream Jets games without cable in Canada?
Absolutely. Cord-cutters in the Jets’ home region can get live games by subscribing to TSN Direct. For national games, you’ll need Sportsnet+ and Amazon Prime Video. Otherwise, Saturday night games on Hockey Night in Canada are also free to stream on CBC Gem.
Who are the TV announcers for the Winnipeg Jets?
When you tune into a Jets game on TSN3, you’ll hear the voice of Dan Robertson calling the high-flying play-by-play. Former pro Kevin Sawyer joins him in the booth, breaking down the action with expert color commentary.
How can I re-watch Winnipeg Jets games?
Most streaming services offer on-demand replays. The TSN app and Sportsnet+ in Canada, as well as ESPN+ in the U.S., allow subscribers to watch full games after they have finished airing.
Why should I watch the Jets this season?
The Winnipeg Jets have built a reputation as one of the NHL’s hardest-working teams, and 2025–2026 should be no different. With Kyle Connor driving the offense, Josh Morrissey steadying the defense, and Connor Hellebuyck still among the league’s elite goalies, Winnipeg is built to compete every night. They’re also coming off a strong season that kept them in the playoff hunt, and the mix of proven veterans with rising talents like Cole Perfetti and Gabriel Vilardi makes them a fun team to follow. Whether you’re a longtime fan in Manitoba or just looking for a gritty Central Division squad to root for, the Jets promise plenty of intensity and drama this year.
Why you should trust us
Our NHL viewing guides are created by hockey experts who live and breathe the game. This guide was written by Ian McLaren, a hockey writer and podcast host with nearly 20 years of NHL coverage under his belt. He even lived just outside Winnipeg for two years, giving him a firsthand appreciation for what the Jets mean to the community. As the host of the Locked On Boston Bruins podcast, Ian follows the entire league daily, including the Jets’ place in the Western Conference.
To create this guide, Ian thoroughly researched the complete 2025–2026 NHL schedule. He verified the details for every channel and streaming service to ensure total accuracy. His goal is to give Jets fans the most reliable information on how to watch their team, regardless of location.
