Fresh off their back-to-back Stanley Cup championships, the Panthers enter 2025–2026 as one of the NHL’s most feared teams. With Aleksander Barkov, Matthew Tkachuk, and Sergei Bobrovsky leading the charge, Florida has become the standard-bearer for consistency and playoff dominance.
Sam Bennett continues to be a driving force with his relentless style, and the addition of longtime rival Brad Marchand only adds more bite to a lineup already built for playoff wars. Florida is deeper and nastier than ever—exactly the kind of team no one wants to face in May and June, or even on a random Tuesday in January.
As someone who’s covered the NHL for nearly 20 years, I know just how tricky it can be to keep up with broadcast rights, blackout rules, and streaming exclusives. This guide breaks down exactly how and where to watch the Panthers all season long—including the full TV schedule, the best streaming options for in-market and out-of-market fans, and tips for watching games without cable.

What channels have Florida Panthers games?
In South Florida, most Panthers games air on Scripps Sports, which signed a multiyear deal with the team in 2024. Broadcasts appear on different Scripps-owned stations depending on the market, as listed below.
- Miami-Dade/Broward: WSFL-TV 39
- Palm Beach/Treasure Coast: WHDT (South Florida’s 9)
- Fort Myers/Southwest Florida: WFTX-TV (Laff 36.3)
Fans in the Panthers’ home region can watch these games through a local cable or satellite provider, or by using a digital antenna for free over-the-air access. The team and Scripps also offer a direct-to-consumer streaming service, Panthers Plus, which lets in-market fans stream games live.
Outside the Panthers’ broadcast territory, nearly every regular-season game is available on ESPN+, which carries all out-of-market matchups not shown nationally.
National broadcasts air throughout the season on ESPN, TNT, ABC, and NHL Network. These games are usually blacked out on local Scripps Sports stations but are widely available through most major TV and streaming packages.
Panthers channels for Canadian fans
In Canada, Florida Panthers games air on Sportsnet or TSN only when picked up for national broadcast. Otherwise, the easiest way to follow the full Panthers schedule is with Sportsnet+, which streams every out-of-market game without blackout restrictions.
That means Canadian fans can watch nearly every Panthers matchup—even when it’s not nationally televised—along with the rest of the NHL’s out-of-market action. Nationally broadcast games on Sportsnet, TSN, or CBC are also included if you already subscribe to those channels through a TV provider or streaming package.
Speaking from experience as a Canadian NHL fan, I’ve found Sportsnet+ to be the most reliable option. It consolidates coverage into a single subscription, so you’re not juggling multiple providers just to catch every Panthers game.
2025–2026 Florida Panthers TV schedule
The Panthers’ three-peat bid runs through an 82-game slate packed with divisional clashes, rivalries, and national TV showcases. Atlantic foes like the Lightning, Bruins, and Maple Leafs highlight the schedule, while late-season battles against Western contenders add extra intrigue.
From Saturday night spotlights to midweek grinders on Scripps Sports, having the full broadcast lineup handy ensures you won’t miss a shift. Below, you’ll find the complete 2025–2026 Florida Panthers TV schedule with start times and channel listings.

Best TV plans for watching the Florida Panthers
When you’re the two-time defending Stanley Cup champions, you’ve got fans everywhere. But watching the Florida Panthers’ championship tour on TV is a totally different experience in the U.S. than it is in Canada. That’s why I’ve broken down the best TV plans for fans on both sides of the border.
Panthers coverage in the United States
If you’re in South Florida, most regular-season games air on Scripps Sports channels (WSFL, WHDT, or WFTX). You can get these channels for free with a digital antenna, through local cable providers, or by subscribing to the team’s standalone streaming service, Panthers Plus.
For Panthers fans away from South Florida, your game plan is different. The vast majority of Panthers games will stream on ESPN+, which is the NHL’s home for out-of-market coverage. You’ll also need a live TV service for the handful of exclusive national games on ABC, ESPN, and TNT. Personally, I recommend Hulu + Live TV as the best all-in-one solution. It conveniently bundles ESPN+ with all the necessary national channels in a single plan.
Canadian TV and streaming options
For Canadian fans, the easiest way to follow the Panthers is through Sportsnet+ with NHL Live. That’ll get you streaming access to every out-of-market NHL game—including the full Panthers schedule—without blackout restrictions.
Nationally televised games on Sportsnet, TSN, or CBC are also included if you subscribe to those channels through an existing TV package. But if you want guaranteed access to every Panthers game, Sportsnet+ is the most reliable single-subscription option.
How to watch the Florida Panthers for free
The best way to watch the Panthers for free is with a good over-the-air (OTA) antenna. In South Florida, you can catch most regular-season games on local Scripps Sports stations, while fans nationwide can tune into any national matchups on ABC. I recommend using Antenna Direct’s TV Transmitter Locator to see which antenna channels are available in your area.
Beyond an antenna, you can also use free live TV streaming trials to watch games without paying. Just use the schedule above to time your sign-up with a service like DIRECTV or Fubo around a national broadcast on ESPN or TNT.
How to watch the Florida Panthers FAQ
How can I watch the Florida Panthers if I don’t live in South Florida?
ESPN+ is the simplest way to stream nearly every out-of-market Panthers game in the U.S. For nationally televised matchups, you’ll also need a live TV streaming service such as Hulu + Live TV or DIRECTV. Canadian fans can watch the full Panthers schedule on Sportsnet+ with NHL Live, which carries every out-of-market game without blackout restrictions.
Does ESPN+ show every Panthers game?
Not quite. ESPN+ streams every out-of-market regular-season game that isn’t nationally televised. Most games airing on channels like ESPN, TNT, ABC, or NHL Network will be blacked out on ESPN+. The good news is that those live matchups are available through most live TV providers and streaming services that carry the national channels.
What happened to Bally Sports Florida?
Bally Sports Florida (now FanDuel Sports Network Florida) no longer carries Florida Panthers games. As part of a regional sports network shake-up, the Panthers signed a multiyear deal with Scripps Sports in 2024. You can now watch in-market games on Scripps-owned stations like WSFL-TV or stream them through the Panthers Plus app.
Can the Panthers actually win their third Stanley Cup in a row?
Honestly, absolutely—they’re built to contend again. With Aleksander Barkov and Matthew Tkachuk leading the offense, Sergei Bobrovsky still anchoring the net, and depth players like Sam Bennett driving the team’s identity, Florida has one of the NHL’s most complete rosters. The addition of Brad Marchand only makes the Panthers tougher to play against, adding leadership and playoff experience. Winning three straight Stanley Cups is one of the hardest feats in hockey, but Florida has the depth, coaching, and swagger to keep the dynasty alive this season.
Why you should trust us
CableTV.com’s NHL viewing guides are built by writers who live and breathe the game. This article was written by Ian McLaren, a lifelong hockey fan and host of a daily Boston Bruins podcast who has covered the NHL for nearly 20 years. He even remembers when the most famous rat in the Panthers’ locker room wasn’t Brad Marchand (thanks to Scott Mellanby, of course).
To create this guide, Ian meticulously reviewed the full 2025–2026 NHL broadcast schedule and double-checked every channel and service. His goal is to give every Panthers fan—whether in South Florida or across North America—the most reliable TV info for following their team.
