Well, that underdog label didn’t last long. Anaheim went 43–33–6 last season, returned to the playoffs for the first time since 2018, and knocked Edmonton out in six games. The Ducks even pushed Vegas to six games in Round 2. That’s a pretty dramatic jump from hoping for progress to expecting it.
Now, Anaheim has to prove last spring wasn’t a one-off. Cutter Gauthier is back on a six-year deal after leading the team with 41 goals and 69 points, while Leo Carlsson and Beckett Sennecke remain central to one of the NHL’s most exciting young cores. The blue line looks quite different, but this isn’t a cute rebuilding story anymore.
The TV setup changed, too. Victory+ is gone, and Amazon Prime Video is now Anaheim’s regional streaming home. Fortunately, Ducks fans still have access to 65 games free over the air, so this remains one of the friendlier local viewing setups in hockey. What channels have Anaheim Ducks games?
You can stream all 77 regional Ducks games in-market through Prime Video with an Amazon Prime or Prime Video membership. No additional Ducks subscription or add-on is required this season.
Local fans also get plenty of free TV coverage. Sixty-five games will air over the air, including 61 on KCOP-TV (FOX Los Angeles+ 13) and four on KTTV (FOX 11). Anaheim’s national exclusives include seven games on ESPN+, Disney+, and Hulu, as well as two on TNT.
Outside the Ducks’ regional territory, most local broadcasts are available through NHL Power Play in the ESPN app or NHL Center Ice through participating cable and satellite providers.

2026–2027 Anaheim Ducks TV schedule
After last season’s breakthrough, Anaheim gets an expanded 84-game schedule and four meetings with every Pacific Division rival. The Freeway Faceoff with Los Angeles features four games, including a Thanksgiving weekend back-to-back and the Ducks’ final home game on April 6.

Best TV plans for watching the Anaheim Ducks
Anaheim fans have a pretty sweet local setup again, even though Victory+ is no longer part of it. Sixty-five games are available free over the air, and every regional broadcast streams through Prime Video. Only seven games leave that local ecosystem for national platforms.
If I were building a Ducks setup from scratch, I’d start with Prime Video for the regional schedule, add DIRECTV MySports for the national games, and use ESPN Select instead if I lived outside Anaheim’s TV territory and mainly needed NHL Power Play. Here’s why.
Best for Local Streaming
Prime Video is my favorite option for local streaming because all 77 regional Ducks games are included with an Amazon Prime or Prime Video membership at no additional charge this season. Sure, it’s not free like Victory+ was, but the app works across a much broader range of devices, and local fans can still fall back on FOX Los Angeles+ or FOX 11 for 65 games over the air.
Best for National Games
Once your local Ducks coverage is handled, DIRECTV MySports is a strong complement. It includes TNT and ESPN Unlimited, so it covers all seven national Ducks games, plus NHL Network and out-of-market access for even more hockey. I like that a lot more than paying for a giant channel package just to fill a handful of gaps. If you’re a local fan, you may even get access to FOX 11 for select regional broadcasts.
Best for Out-of-Market Fans
If you live outside the Ducks’ TV territory, don’t overthink it. ESPN Select includes NHL Power Play and the ESPN+ library, so it covers most regional Anaheim broadcasts out of market, plus all five ESPN+/Disney+/Hulu exclusives. You can upgrade to ESPN Unlimited to stream ESPN’s linear networks. But you’ll still need another option for any TNT Sports broadcasts and any matchup blacked out because Anaheim is playing your local NHL team.
