Finding the best internet, TV, and mobile deals can be super overwhelming. Trust me, I know: Half of my job is hunting down the best deals, combing through disclaimers for expiration dates, and sifting through other fine print to uncover the details of the best current promos for all the top telco and streaming services.

That’s why I’ve started this weekly column to keep readers up-to-date with the best deals that providers are currently running. This page is updated weekly with a fresh batch of deals released over the past week, so be sure to bookmark it for future reference.

✦ Allow me to introduce myself! My name is Logan Jones, and I’ve been CableTV.com’s resident deals expert for close to three years. As part of the editorial staff, it’s my job to keep readers updated with all the latest internet, TV, and mobile promotions. I update all 20+ of our deals pages at the beginning of each month, and keep an eye out for new promos as they drop.

Internet providers are offering totally free months of service

Last week, I ranted about all the recent streaming service price increases that’ve been put into effect over the past few months (spoiler alert: it’s a lot).

This week, it’s internet service providers (ISP)’s turn to catch my ire. Although ISPs don’t put price hikes into effect quite as often as those pesky streaming services, I’ve still noticed quite a few sneaky increases over the past few years. (TV providers are even worse in this regard, but I’ll deal with them another week.)

Thankfully, ISPs often help alleviate these rising costs by offering consumers deals on their services, including free months of service. Keep reading to learn about the best providers offering totally free months of their internet service right now!

How do you get internet for free?

It’s near impossible to get internet service for free permanently (although we do know some great low-income deals that can help alleviate the costs). Luckily, free months of internet access are much easier to come by.

Right now, there are quite a few ISPs offering free months of service (along with some other gratis goodies, too).

  • Astound: Get a free month of service, a $100 Amazon gift card, and up to 50% off professional installation using promo code FALLSALE during checkout.
  • Brightspeed: Get your 1st mo. free + up to a $200 Reward Card with Brightspeed Fiber Internet.
  • Spectrum: New Spectrum customers can get 1 mo. free of Spectrum Internet Premier or Internet Ultra. If you bundle with TV, Mobile, and/or Spectrum Voice, you can get up to 4 mos. of free service.
  • Starry: Try Starry Internet free for 30 days. If you decide to switch, they’ll cover up to $200 in cancellation fees from your previous provider.
  • T-Mobile 5G Home Internet: Try T-Mobile 5G Home Internet free for 15 days.

Pro tip: These are just the free months of service that ISPs are currently offering. In the past, I’ve seen major providers like AT&T offer up to six (six!) free months of internet service. That deal isn’t running currently, but if it’s brought back, you’ll be the first to know. Just be sure to sign up for our newsletter above to get free internet info right in your inbox.

Some things never change…

While some providers tend to switch out deals on the reg, others like to keep things more stable (which I appreciate, seeing as I personally update all 20+ of our deals pages each month😅).

Here are some of the best perpetual deals from top TV and internet providers:

  • Amazon Prime Video: 30-day free trial
  • DIRECTV: HBO Max, Paramount+ with SHOWTIME, MGM+, CINEMAX, STARZ included for 3 mos.
  • DISH: Paramount+ with SHOWTIME, STARZ, and DISH Movie Pack included for 3 mos.
  • Hulu: 30-day free trial
  • Verizon: Up to $200 in gift cards with Verizon’s Fios TV plans
  • Xfinity: Get an Unlimited line included for a year with a 300 Mbps or faster Xfinity Internet plan
