Verizon can hook you up with a free Nintendo Switch 🎮
Who doesn’t love free stuff? Especially really real, really free stuff? C’mon—no one!
Verizon clearly knows that (and has the money to spend) as they are the provider that most often hands out free consumer electronics—think TVs, gaming systems, etc.—with its internet, TV, and mobile plans.
So if you’ve been eyeing the Nintendo Switch, now’s a great time to snag it for free by signing up for a new Verizon internet plan. I mean, cozying up on the couch playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the peak autumn activity IMO.
Keep reading to find out which plans are eligible for this deal, plus some alternatives Verizon’s offering up if Switches aren’t your thing.
How to claim your free Nintendo Switch before November 5
FYI, not every Verizon internet plan is eligible for the free Nintendo Switch. If you’re looking for a lower-tier plan (think 300 or 500 Mbps), you’ll still get excellent service with Verizon, but you won’t get any free goodies.
To get a Switch with Verizon Fios fiber internet, you’ll need to sign up for the Fios 1 Gig or Fios 2 Gig plans. Don’t live in a Verizon fiber area? Not to worry, as Verizon is also giving it away with its lower-speed but more widely available 5G Home Ultimate and LTE Home Plus plans.
The Switch promo has some flexibility, too. You can opt for either a new Nintendo Switch system or a Switch gaming accessory bundle (2 controllers + $100 Nintendo Switch gift card), which’ll be perfect if you want to trick out the Switch setup you already own.
Not a gamer? No problem. Verizon is offering one more option outside of the Switch and Switch accessory bundle. You can also choose to get the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Select (With Ads) bundle free for 12 months.
One word of warning: Don’t choose this last option if you happen to have a Spectrum TV plan. Spectrum’s recent addition of Hulu to its long list of included streaming services makes the Disney bundle a moot point for Spectrum TV customers.
Some things never change…
While some providers tend to switch out deals on the reg, others like to keep things more stable (which I appreciate, seeing as I personally update all 20+ of our deals pages each month😅).
