Although mobile and internet providers do give away free phones year-round, the gifting feels even stronger during the holiday season. Do ISPs also feel the Christmas spirit? Maybe so.
Regardless of why, I’m noticing more providers than usual offering free cell phones as signup bonuses. So if you’re looking for a new mobile (or internet, in Optimum’s case) plan this holiday season, now is the time to switch!

How to claim your free phones this holiday season
Take note that these free phone deals require you to either sign up for a new plan, trade in your current phone, or both.
You do have one option if you’re not looking to switch your mobile provider: Optimum is offering free iPhones when you sign up for a new internet plan.
