The Golden State Warriors had an up-and-down 2024–2025 season that actually ended in a ton of upside. They traded away one half of the Splash Brothers in Klay Thompson and still got off to a hot start, but lost steam. The trade for Jimmy Butler turned things around, though, and the Dubs made it all to the second round of the playoffs in the Western Conference.
Coming into the 2025–2026 season, there’s plenty of reason to believe a full season of Jimmy Butler, the continued magic of Steph Curry, and the almost-certain addition of Al Horford will make the Warriors a force in the West.
Keep up with all the intrigue—including the Jonathan Kuminga contract saga—with our comprehensive watch guide for the 2025–2026 Golden State Season. Read on to find out which channels will show Warriors games, and what services you’ll need to be the most informed fan in your friend group.
What channel shows the Golden State Warriors?
For the 2024–2025 NBA season, you can watch the Golden State Warriors on a combination of the following channels:
NBC Sports Bay Area is the regional sports network partner of the Golden State Warriors. Residents of central California, southern Oregon, or northern Nevada need a provider with NBC Sports Bay Area to catch most Warriors games. Cable TV providers, including Xfinity, DISH, and DIRECTV, carry NBC Sports Bay Area, as do streaming services like DIRECTV STREAM, YouTube TV, and Peacock.
The NBA’s new media deal replaced TNT with NBC, and also added Prime Video to the mix.
Golden State Warriors 2025–2026 TV schedule
The Golden State Warriors are in a tough and tight Western Conference, which means every game during the regular season could mean the difference between home-court advantage in a round or two of the playoffs, or being in the Play-In Tournament. There are a couple of stretches to watch this season.
The first is the six-game road trip in November that includes the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder, the San Antonio Spurs twice, and the Miami Heat on the second night of a back-to-back. The Warriors have a home-heavy January, but have tough games against OKC, the New York Knicks, and the Milwaukee Bucks.
The last two weeks of the season are particularly challenging. Golden State has San Antonio and the Cleveland Cavaliers on a back-to-back, then play the Houston Rockets, Sacramento Kings, Los Angeles Lakers, and the Kings again in just six days.
